TP-LINK TD-8616 ADSL2+ Modem Up to 24Mbps downstream ADSL/ADSL2/ADSL2+ Standards 1 x RJ11 Port, 1 x RJ45

Pros: Have had great success with this modem on windstream service even in there long reach dsl service, the modems that windstream provides are junk and prefer these.

Cons: none so far

Overall Review: Will continue to buy.

Junk

D-Link Whole Home Router 1000 (DIR-645) Wireless N300, SmartBeam Coverage, Gigabit, USB SharePort
D-Link Whole Home Router 1000 (DIR-645) Wireless N300, SmartBeam Coverage, Gigabit, USB SharePort

Pros: none

Cons: Don't waste your money. Bought 2 of these less than a year ago for clients and they both have major issues ranging from nothing working at all on the one except the power light is on too the other one not assigning an ip address to computers.

Overall Review: You have to install software if you want to use the usb port on the router and then you can only have one computer use the printer at a time and will not queue documents.

Awesome modem/router

ASUS CM-32 DOCSIS 3.0 High Speed Cable Modem, Xfinity, Spectrum, Cox certified
ASUS CM-32 DOCSIS 3.0 High Speed Cable Modem, Xfinity, Spectrum, Cox certified

Pros: Only had a couple days but well worth the money spent. Was using a Motorola modem router combo on my Mediacom service and the wireless and internet speed test sucked. Hooked this baby up and registered the MAC address with mediacom, changed the wireless set up and this baby was up running giving us the speed and more that we pay for. We are paying for 100mb speeds and withe the motorola we were lucky to be having anything over 50mb download. With this hooked up we are running 120 to 130mb download and the wireless signal reaches all over the apartment. Couldn't be happier. With my motorola hooked up I was only getting about 100mb to 1mb wireless signal. With this ASUS hooked up I am running about 866mb wireless signal.

Cons: none thus far.

Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this product even though the cost is high at the moment it is well worth it.

Poor cooling

Seagate Expansion 2TB USB 3.0 3.5" Desktop External Hard Drive STBV2000100
Seagate Expansion 2TB USB 3.0 3.5" Desktop External Hard Drive STBV2000100

Pros: none if it quits working within a year because of overheating.

Cons: Very poor cooling on these drives because of minimal openings on the enclosure, took enclosure apart and drilled holes in it, going to see how that works.

No Windows 7

ASUS Laptop Intel Core i3-2328M 4GB Memory 500GB HDD Intel HD Graphics 3000 15.6" F55C-TH31
ASUS Laptop Intel Core i3-2328M 4GB Memory 500GB HDD Intel HD Graphics 3000 15.6" F55C-TH31

Pros: None unless you like windows 8.

Cons: Bought this thinking I was able to downgrade it to windows 7 being there were drivers for it on the asus website. WHAT A MISTAKE! Contacted asus and they said that microsoft will not let you downgrade to windows 7 and when I asked why they offered windows 7 drivers for this exact same model of laptop he stated that there was this model out there with windows 7 on it. Then I asked if that is the case then why can't I downgrade it and he could not give me a straight answer, just the run around. I took the drive out and formatted it completely and still cannot get windows 7 to install, it freezes at the starting windows screen when I am trying to install it. Tried a different drive just to make sure that wasn't the problem and same result. If this is something that microsoft is responsible for then it should be illegal to force people to use newer operating systems and I will be checking into this with the BBB.

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Dual Channel Kit Laptop Memory Model F2-5300CL5D-4GBSK
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Dual Channel Kit Laptop Memory Model F2-5300CL5D-4GBSK

Pros: none

Cons: Have tried this memory in 2 different laptops and they both have failed to even get to the boot screen. I know the laptops are suppose to be able to handle the 4 gig. Not sure if it is just an hp/compaq problem or if I got a bad batch because there is no way to check them if I CANT EVEN GET TOO THE BOOT SCREEN!!

Overall Review: Will not buy this brand for ddr2 again. I have purchased other g skill and have had great success but for some reason these are a pain.
