Great Value if you don't need all the gamers bells and whistles
Pros: Low Cost for a modern AM4 motherboard Easy Install in small case Has both HDMI and D-Sub for onboard graphics. Front 3.2 USB Boots at default slow mem speed like every other motherboard. Changed bios to match timings on the 3200 memory, no issues and stable first try.
Cons: Motherboard is shorter at the front edge (where power supply connector is) than the micro board it replaced (7 year old ASRock AM3+). There were no holes in the Silverstone Case I had that matched the holes on the motherboard on that edge. Note that case is Silverstone ML03B case from 2013, so no points off. Doesn't have bluetooth, wifi, etc, but for a few dollars more you can get the models that do.
Overall Review: Love it. Replaced OLD motherboard/DDR3. Installed Ryzen 5 3400G and G.SKILL Aegis 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3200. Used old hard drive (1TB 860 EVO SATA SSD 2.5") and just plugged in. Windows had no problems figuring out the new hardware, even with change from Nvidia 750 to onboard APU, and booted stable. Haven't had any issues at all. It's almost creepy, no failures at all. I've bought an M2 HD for it, but I haven't installed yet to see how that goes. It's SO MUCH faster than the old system, I haven't needed to mess with it. This PC is a media unit/ guest PC when the grandkids come over. They much appreciate the speed and don't ask to use mine now. Plays typical games at 1080p like fortnight, WoT, and minecraft just fine, according to them. I've got a 1660 Super in my PC so I'm not on it much. In hindsight, I would probably get a motherboard with wifi next time, whether I needed it or not. Just makes it more flexible.
Great at first
Pros: Good Sound Noise cancelling works
Cons: Volume and mute functions quit working after 2 months
Overall Review: Loved them at first. Now the switch that does the mute and volume doesn't work. Very inconvenient.
Onlly lasted a month
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Wasn't cheap enough...
Overall Review: Did a quick format, transferred info from old drive, and brought to work next day. Printer wouldn't recognize it. Did full format, still didn't work in printer. After about a month of very casual use, it started giving an error message. I always have a few on hand so tossed it in a drawer. I've bought them before but it's been years. Never happy with their products, so I'm done with them now.
great choice
Pros: Extremely quiet Low Power Usage Plays 1080P games very well
Cons: No software included Long for it's mid range class size
Overall Review: Love the card. Stepping up from a 6850, big bump in the quality settings. Switch from ATI was pretty painless. If not gaming the fans don't even turn on. Software wasn't a big deal as I look for the latest drivers anyway. Those with metered internet might think different.
Works, sort of
Pros: Does what it says it does
Cons: If I power off any device plugged into it, such as my DVR or DVD player, the screen turns mostly green with a purple shadow of the program playing. Unplugging that powered off source solves the problem, but defeats the purpose of the box.
Overall Review: Might be defective, this is second IOGear device I've bought and both had issues out the box. I'll spend a little more next time.
Great Kids Tablet
Pros: Great Value Includes Bumper Lots of free stuff for the kids pre-loaded Perfect screen size for the kids, not too big to hold, large enough to see. Includes all the bells and whistles needed that get skipped on cheaper tablets, like SD slots, front and rear camera, accelerometer, etc.
Cons: No choice of colors on the refurbs
Overall Review: Bought 3 for xmas for two four year olds and an 8 year old. Don't have to share our phones with them anymore, or worry about them damaging our tablets. They appear durable and the kids figured them out fast. Neither of the four year olds even bother with the kid mode, but they'd already had experience on another Samsung tablet and didn't need it. As a refurb I got them for not much more than half price, which can't be beat. Didn't want to spend more on the kids and have to worry about them too much. They had the Innotabs, which are more trouble than they are worth and are VERY unreliable. Returned four of those already. Much better than the Kindles two were using.
Arrived early
