Does this work with Lorex NR900 Series?

I don't expect I have all the answers you need, but have purchased and used this hard drive.  If your system uses normal computer hard drives, then this should also work in your system.  WD lists this unit for surveillance meaning it is running 24/7.  This same drive used to be listed by WD for DVR use.  This is what I purchased it for.  It has been running 24/7 in a TIVO  DVR for the last 1.5 years with no problems.  It also is recording on 4 channels at a time and has recorded on 6 channels at a time also.  This supposedly has a few small variances from some of the other hard drives in WD line for continual use.  This has been recording in 720, 1280, and 4K.  The display I use with it is an LG 65" OLED.  I have a beautiful picture with this hard drive, TIVO, and display.  Again, if your system uses full size computer hard drives, I know of no reasons not to use the WD purple.  Know this is not spot on, put hope it helps.

WILL THESE DRIVES WORK IN A SAMSUNG XRN1610S NVR ?

I think you should contact Samsung directly regarding that question. I have used 20 of these drives in Hikvision NVRs with no problem. I have configured them as single, JBOD and Raid 10 with good performance.

Is the 3.5" SATA HDD Home security system compatible with NVR capabilitie? .

This should work with most NVR's.  But the capacity you need to make sure that it will your NVR.  Most system have a drive limit.  Mine has 4 sata iii ports and each drive can not be bigger then 6TB.

Is this drive suitable to use as a DVR?
Our PC is also our DVR (we have a digital tuner connected to the PC). We record 2 or 3 hours of 1080p video per night (TV shows or occasional movie). After viewing, many recordings are deleted, and a few are saved. Currently, we're using a 2TB WD Red 5400rpm. It's the basic Red, not the Pro. So, would this Purple drive be suitable to use as a DVR?

Yes, it has similar specs to the Red just fewer cycle times. Meaning it's designed to be running all the time instead of powering off and on like on the case of a surveillance NVR.

Question 5

I have an nvr with the WD60PURX.  I want to expand to 6 additional TB's.  Will this WD60PURZ work side by side with the PURX?  The drive speed of the newer version is 300rpm's faster.  Not sure that matters, but want to make sure.
