Customizable Motion Detection sends real-time alerts to your phone the moment movement is spotted, and Advanced Pre-Roll captures up to 6 seconds of video before the alert triggers, helping fill in the full story of what happened. Two-way audio with noise cancellation lets you talk to pets or people in the room with clear sound in both directions, and a remote-activated siren can be switched on from the Ring app to scare off unwanted activity or break up a pet squabble. Privacy is built directly into the hardware: a manual Privacy Cover attached to the camera slides into place to physically disable both the camera and microphone, and swivels away in an instant when you're ready to monitor again, with the Ring app always showing its current status. Customizable Privacy Settings, End-to-End Encryption options, and Device Modes in the Ring app give you further control over when and how the camera records. The Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam connects over 802.11 b/g/n WiFi at 2.4GHz and recommends a minimum upload speed of 2 Mbps for optimal performance. It's powered by the included 10-foot USB-A to USB-C cable and a 10W USB-A power adapter, plugging into any standard outlet, and setup on a flat surface, wall, or ceiling typically takes just 5 to 10 minutes.
