Does it replace all other antennas, cables, Dish etc. i.e. is it self sufficient or must it be used with something else?

televisions produced after like 2008 by law have to have the digital converter built in. if it is not you need that. but yes this is a standalone product that can replace your tv service altogether. also it works better than my parents rabbit ear style antenna by a lot. they ask to borrow this from me all the time because they don't get some over the air channels.

keep in mind the channels you get will be much more limited, you may get 10-25 depending on your area
