Pros: 1) High resolution 2) High refresh rate (clearer pictures in high motion) 3) Great for gaming 4) Smart TV 5) impressive sound
Cons: Sometimes the wifi takes the better part of 30 seconds to connect, but it's only a problem on boot if you're trying to go straight into an internet app like Netflix.
Overall Review: I was pleasantly surprised with the smoothness of the interface. I used to use my xbox to stream netflix to the TV and now I just use the Smart TV app. I'll never go back. Also the sound is remarkably crisp and clear for the size of the TV. I usually only need to have it on 10-20/100 for a show or movie and can hear everything perfectly.
Pros: Really clear picture, 3 HDMI ports is just the right number. I use it as an alternative monitor with good results. The apps range from pretty much useless to really cool, but the store is well organized and they load quickly. The 5500 come with the best base of Samsung's 32 inch TV line.
Cons: It's a little deceptive that they say it's 120 clear motion plus, but it does not have a refresh rate of 120 hertz.
Overall Review: If you've got the money and the desk space this would make a nice desktop monitor.
Pros: Picture, design, smart, sound.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I got this one from NewEgg and I got lucky. It has the TS 01 panel which means the quality of the picture on this set is unbelievable. The black is black and the white is white on this TV set. The colors are phenomenal. Sound is surprisingly good on this little TV. I got this one for my home office, and since I have it I am even watching football on this screen, and I use to love watching games on my big 65 inch TV set. If you are looking for good solid TV with fantastic picture, decent sound and SMART TV features - look no more. For the price, its hard to beat this one. I would say any price below $ 500 for this TV is money well spent.
Pros: This has one of the nicest tv pictures. I have 3 other TV's in the house . 2 other Samsungs . A 3 year old 46" LCD with streaming apps . A un32EH4003F from last year. And a 26" ILO LCD. This TV has very dark black, and vivid colors, and is very responsive when changing to apps .Can connect a keyboard and mouse , Does skype and facebook . I just don't use that. And it connects to my smart phone to play games , and mirrors my grandson's I Pod .He showed me some of that . Being that a 9 year old can do it ,it's easy setup. I use it with a over the air antenna and was very impressed . I get 38 channels and HD is 1080i and crisp . The netflix and other apps start fast.
Cons: I did have a bit of issue at first connecting with my wireless D link router. But Samsung had the firmware update and all I had to do was a quick update and Viola' no more issue. It connects fine .
Overall Review: If you wait the price may come down .
Pros: If you get the right panel these are magical. Such an upgrade over my 2 year old sony. I rushed out to buy one as the models with the samsung panels either seem to be drying up, or are being relabeled with a new version that can't be figured out. I bought from a brick store as you can't check the version number online, but as there seems to be new labels coming out, no one really knows what will be inside. Now back to the tv, mine has the TS 01 panel, and man is it beautiful. The contrast, truly vibrant colors, along with no ghosting whatsoever make this a fabuloust 32 inch unit. I prefered it to the 40 with it's higher pixel density, and since I only use it for my ps3 that i play 4 feet away from, its a non issue.
Cons: Sucks that you might have to gamble. I understand why they would use sharp, and chi mei panels (they simply can't make enough themselves) but when I buy a samsung tv I want it to be a guaranteed samsung panel, and sadly this is not the case. But seriously, this seems to be a bigger issue these days, because when it comes down to it, the panel is basically all that you are paying for, and frankly I would rather have a guaranteed quality panel than any of the smart tv junk, I just want a GUARANTEED good screen. Is that really so much to ask? There were new boxes for this model at the store i bought it from, they were labeled UD03 i believe, while there were only 2 remaining boxes of the old TS01.
Overall Review: Frankly I dunno If i will buy tvs online again, I feel like i need to see the serial number to make sure i'm not getting the bait and switch. And frankly it makes me wonder if they use the good panels for display models, and then sell the lower quality panel units to the unknowing customer. Def something to think about.
Pros: This TV rocks. Great picture, Great features. The stand swivels, which is nice. It's a SMART TV, so if you are looking for online/internet apps like Netflix & HuluPlus this TV has them installed.
Cons: The speakers were not working properly with the default settings. So if the sound is low, Go into the setup menu and make the change to get the speakers and built in amp to work properly.
Pros: Large viewing area, Samsung Apps, Universal Remote, TV guide capability, 3 HDMI ports, 1080p, WiFi
Cons: WiFi disconnects sometimes
Pros: Picture Quality. Smart Features including connecting to my other devices on the house wifi without and real setup. Sound is better then most LEDs, but still limited
Cons: I would not consider this noticeably thinner as noted in the "Slim LED" verbaige when haning on wall. I still have to use my Direct TV Remote along with the Samsung remote to control things like DVR.
Overall Review: First off, I love this TV, It's like having a new toy (I still don't know what all it is capable of doing:). I needed a smaller TV w/smart connection as I plan on canceling cable after my contract runs out. I previously went cheap and got a Westinghouse (before you buy from a company, try calling there customer service number at peak hours and that will give you a better Idea of Service after the purchase. Westinghouse is terrible); so after that bad experience, I went with Quality over Price knowing that I keep TVs for a long time. After putting this samsung on the wall and setup with my Wifi, I was amazed that now if i start a netflix show on my Samsung Galaxy Phone it ask me what Device to playback on with this tv; with zero connection setup between the two devices. The picture quality is noticeably better than my other 1080p TVs in the house. Speakers are usable, Unlike some other LEDs I've purchased, but obviously not great. On a side note, I want to commend Newegg Service, I previously bought a Westinghouse which died a few days before the warranty ended, could not get through to Westinghouse and called Newegg who completly took care of everything for me, the service here was astounding. I work at a service oriented company and I always want to give credit where credit is due.
