Pros: Great capacity, response and speed, Excelent value.

Cons: this model (at least mine) while not loud from it's mechanics, actually causes a different sort of sound due its weight and vibration. So if you are going for quietest, stick to the 80 or even 160 samsung (have no experience with 200 or 250 )

Pros: I've had this hard drive for about a month now. Its been going strong with no problems at all. I am so glad i got a sata 2 this is a real deal. Looking for a good big hard drive with quick transfers and cheap this is the one for you.

Overall Review: Just fyi dont change the drive letter of the drive with your boot sector on it. :P

Pros: Installed 4 in a RAID group - all fired up fine, easily recognized and formatted up. No "noise" or other weirdness. Haven't found a heat problem, although sticking 4 in a case did raise the temperature about 2 deg F overall.

Cons: None - satisfied customer.

Pros: I bought this drive and a 160GB Samsung hoping to get the best combination of quiet, heat and performance. These are better than I'd hoped. Faster than the WDs they replaced and almost completely silent.

Cons: Wish the SATA power and data connections were more secure, but that is just the nature of the SATA setup.

Pros: I now have 2 Samsung drives along with some WD and a Maxtor, The first samsung in my wifes PC a 40Gig I think, runs 24-7, I was impressed when I installed it, on how Quite it was, let alone faster than the old ATA66 that was in it. Now with this 300Gig in My box, I realize that I had a bottle neck with my older WD system drive.

Pros: Bought 4 for a RAID 5 configuration and had no problems in the first month.

Cons: Does not support SMART.

Pros: Easy installationg and detection using Windows XP Pro. I bought two of them and installed them on seperate computers. I haven't had any problems as yet.

Cons: Which is was more than 8MB Cache, but 8MB will suffice.

Overall Review: Would by two more for my computer: one for music files only and the other for movies.

Overall Review: In the previous comment I made, I commented on the shipping time due to the holiday weekend. That was another product I just bought, and got confused. Shipping time was as predicted by UPS.
