Solid SSD8/1/2021 8:35:45 AM
Pros: Overall its a great SSD - halfway okay write speeds which is fine for basic school and non-heavy programming stuff for when I need to bounce between computers.
Cons: My biggest Con here is that its not compatible with Debian/Linux if you use the password protection or encryption that comes packaged with it. At the time of writing this I have not had access to a Windows PC to disable the protections to verify if it works on Linux at all.
Overall Review: Good credit card sized SSD for windows users.
Pros: Small, light and has the needed capacity
Comes with a cable!
You don't have to download any software if you don't need/want the extra functionality of setting security.
Power from the connected hardware, no extra cable or adapter required
Cons: My laptop with Windows 8.1 wouldn't even recognize it when first connected. Just not there in Explorer. Connected to my tower with Windows 10 and it was recognized. Reformatted from exFAT (as shipped) to NTFS and then it was recognized by everything.
Overall Review: I use it as a a local network drive connected to an ASUS RT-AC66U router for my small business. Once you map the drive, it is accessible to share files between multiple users with Windows 7/8/10 as well as Mac OS - tested as I have users with all these varied and archaic hardware.
Perfect solution to replace slow thumb drives6/7/2021 10:36:39 AM
Pros: I bought the Samsung T7 SSD for recording live music via USB, I am recording up to 14 Tracks in stereo at 44 hz. Throughput on my ultrafast thumb drive just could not keep up and resulted in non-synched tracks and dropped data. The SSD works perfectly and never struggled to record.
Pros: -This SSD is very small & easy to bring with you / throw in a bag
- Extremely fast read & write speeds
- These days with manufactures skimping on everything its nice Samsung includes multiple cables with this SSD
Cons: - Nothing to report at this time, will need to see how speeds & reliability hold up in the long term
Overall Review: If your looking for a portable hard drive and don't mind paying a little more than other similar models, you won't be disappointed with this SSD.

Easy to use, fast12/10/2021 9:09:21 AM
Pros: Very fast to transfer files and work from. No issues so far! It's tiny too.
Cons: You should reformat it with Disk Utility if you use Apple, because it comes formatted for Windows. But it's very easy to erase disk and start fresh.
Overall Review: Seems like a good solid drive, and should be great to work with as the speed is improved and it's solid state, so no moving pieces.
Overall Review: I am using this as a working hard drive as I switch from one computer (desktop) to another (laptop) quite often. Uploading and working from this drive is astoundingly fast! There is a tiny bit of lag when working right from this drive as opposed to the HD native to the computer, of course, but it's not so much that it's even annoying - just slightly noticeable. It's going to be a godsend when I go on vacation and I can take ALL of my files with me if I should need to do any work. I won't have to upload and download to Dropbox or Google Drive. This HD is pricey but WELL worth the money in my opinion.

Fast and Compact4/12/2021 10:15:05 AM
Pros: Fast write speeds, up to 2x the other products I foundQuiet, compact form factorEasy to useFormats properly on a Mac using Disk Utility
Cons: Spendy, but worth it.
Overall Review: Bought it, quicker delivery than Am*azon (non Prime). Well packaged, put it in my iMac and Disk Utility partitioned and formatted for FAT32 (which is what I needed for my application) with no problems. Plugged it into the car (Tesla Model 3) with the supplied USB A to USB C cable and it just worked. Bought this because the old SanDisk 256GB USB thumb drive failed after 3 years, write cycled out and couldn't be accessed, not in the car nor in the iMacs, so definitely a problem with the thumb drive. Very happy with the size and performance now, and there was room enough to put all my music into the second partition so I now have it in the car, too.
