can you tell me if this unit has a USB port and HDMI?

This unit has a USB port in front, two HDMI ports (One of the HDMI ports is for audio only) ,Ethernet port and a digital optical out in the back. These are listed in the specs of the unit.

Will this player play the new 4K UHD movies?

yes. that's what it's designed to do. It's really specifically designed to work in tandem with one of the newer samsung UHD tv's and the curved shape is supposed to match the curve of the tv. I have a flat tv, but  they still work amazingly together.

Can you stream content like Plex to this device and does it up convert it?

I would think so.  Great player, my only negative about it is that it doesn't have and can't get the ESPN app. Another thing to consider, when I purchased this around 6 months ago, their were only two 4k players that could read actual 4k blurays. This and Sony.  Everything else will just up concert old blurays, which is nice, but nowhere near true 4k quality.  Get it,  you won't regret

What does the ZA mean in this model? Does it play Region 1 (North America) disks?
