Pros: None

Cons: Everything? No electronic responsiveness according to my testing after seeing this husk of hardware not function in my machine.

Overall Review: I would've posted this arrival closer to the time I bought the item, but life got busy. I was reminded to do so by browsing my order history.

Pros: Seems to do what it is supposed to when it works.

Cons: Randomly disconnects from the computer. tried it in 2 computers using different cables and had the same problem.

Overall Review: The cons outweigh the pros. I wouldn't recommend this unit.

Second SanDisk failing in a week... 4/18/2019 9:55:17 AM

Pros: It was working...

Cons: It failed... while it was not supposed to...

Overall Review: Only 3.5 years, and it is dead... I really was considering before that SanDisk is the most reliable manufacturers of the memory cards and SSDs, but apparently two very different items are failing within a week show that I was wrong...

Died Few Months After Warrnty Expired 4/4/2019 11:03:41 AM

Pros: Good when it worked

Cons: Drive died 3 Years and 2 and a half months. Warranty is 3 years. Used it for OS boot drive only. Given the other reviews, it is as if SanDisk made them to fail right after warranty period. Drive had no indication of failures or issues. One day system shows no OS found and it is no longer seen BIOS, not discoverable, totally dead. Tried it in different external enclosures and no luck. This was my first drive from SanDisk. I learned my lesson. Avoid SanDisk and avoid drives with only 3 year warranty.

Died a month after warranty expired 3/26/2019 8:28:30 PM

Pros: -Will hold my paper files

Cons: -Died
-Won't hold my digital Files
-Not heavy enough to be a great paperweight

Overall Review: This SSD died a few months after the warranty expired. I even avoided excessive writes and just used it as a boot drive so there's no way it was worn out. I've had SSDs that where much cheaper and supposedly worse quality the have lasted several times longer than this one.

Pros: Fast for 2015.

Cons: Lifespan of 4 years and 26 days. Died taking a small of data with it.

Worked great for 3 years and 2 months - then died 1/30/2019 8:58:45 PM

Pros: It was cheap when I bought it. Previously had good luck (no failures or problems) with several SanDisk SSD's and other memory products.

Cons: Warranty was 3 years. Complete failure at 3 years and 2 months. Turned down for warranty. I won't be buying any more SanDisk products. I bought a Samsung 1 TB EVO to replace it. 5 year warranty from Samsung. Lots of complaints about early failure for SanDisk. Live and learn.

Overall Review: Watch out. Plan on it failing as soon as warranty is up.
