Pros: Super fast speeds both transferring and writing to SSD Supports SATA 6Gb/s speeds Fits right into my Small Miocro ATX Case Light (not heavy) Strong and durable aluminum case Decreased Windows 7 loading dramatically
Cons: We never get the full 240GB...why? I only got 219GB avaialble. Other than that, no cons.
Overall Review: Bought this to go into my HTPC. Windows 7 now opens in less than 30 seconds! I only steam HD content so I don't have any other programs (other than Virus software and plugins). I have this PC open literally 24/7 and for a month now, it's still working like day 1! I don't transfer files so it's fast enough for me! For an HTPC build, I'd highly recommend this SSD. It's built solid and works as it says.
Pros: Fast Cool and Quiet Easy to set up SSD optimization software Good value
Cons: No cloning software
Overall Review: Bought to replace a slow HHD in my wife's computer. I have been running SSD's in my main computer and my laptops and love the speed. I finally got around to replacing her slow HHD. What a difference, her computer boots up in 20 seconds instead of 2 minutes and programs open quickly. I expected this, she was extremely surprised. SanDisk have a good reputation, the drive was a good price and I have not had any issues with my other SanDisk drives. Fast, quiet and great value. I would have liked some included cloning software, however Todo Easus Free works well, just remember to optimize for SSD when cloning. Recommended.
Pros: Easy to Use SSD Dashboard Monitors Drive Status and Management The SanDisk Ultra II SSD comes with the enhanced SanDisk SSD Dashboard, which displays the drive's performance, manual or scheduled TRIM, available firmware updates and tips on how to maintain the drive at its peak operation. Users can choose from 17 different languages and get assistance from "Live Chat" and "Ask a Question via Email" buttons. Additional value-added software features of the SanDisk SSD Dashboard include: Cloning– Ability to create an exact replica of an old drive onto the new SanDisk Ultra II SSD in three easy steps with Apricorn's EZ GIG IV. With the cloning software, there is no need to re-install the operating system, programs or settings.
Cons: None yet. I'm writing this review because the first reviewer stated that there was no clone software you just have to get it through the dashboard from Apricorn's site.
Pros: Size, Price
Cons: Purchased 2, both failed with in a couple of months. Contacted customer support, filled out on-line RMA request and never heard back from anyone. It's been several weeks now and subsequent attempts to contact SanDisk produce no results. This is terrible customer service!!!!

Buyer beware.
Overall Review: Should have purchased Intel. Update Jan.21, 2016: I finally received my replacement drive by UPS, no communication or heads up, just grateful they replaced it.
Pros: I wait some time before posting reviews on SSDs as it speaks to the longevity of the device. I used this as the main drive in a work/gaming laptop. Never a hiccup, blue screen, or any other sort of issue with this drive. Great price/GB and performance to boot. Highly recommend.
Cons: none
Pros: Cheap at the time
Cons: Relatively slow. The drive died on me in 13 months. It was only used sparingly, and thank God it is not my OS drive. SanDisk's RMA process is not very good. First, I had to pay for the shipping. Secondly, I did not receive any communication from SanDisk a week after the failed drive is delivered. When followed up on the case, they did not confirm receiving the item nor did they provide an ETA.
Overall Review: Hardware failure is a lottery draw, and I accept sometimes bad apples can happen. Warranty handling should not.
Pros: These SanDisk 480G solid state drives seem to be the best value in a drive of this size. I've owned many SSDs, probably from every major manufacturer, and I'm always looking to upgrade when a good value comes along. While I've had reliability problems with one particular batch years ago, most SSDs have served me well as boot drives, cache drives for photo/video apps, and as durable portable drives in USB3 enclosures. My other SanDisk SSDs have shown no issues whatsoever, and join my many SanDisk CompactFlash and SD cards... never any problems. So far, this disk has been great - amazing for this price at NewEgg. Usually SanDisk is not the least expensive option, but in this case it does seem to be. Benchmark read/write performance is in the same range as the upper tier SATA3 SSDs from the two top-tier SSD sellers ("Pro" class), though they all seem to advertise slightly optimistic ratings (using their special benchmarks?).
Cons: No cons at all, regardless of the great price!
Overall Review: Love the price trend in high-performance SSDs: down, down, down!
Pros: This is one of the lowest power consumption SSDs available. Samsung is the other one but it usually costs more than the Sandisk. You can squeeze a few extra minutes of battery life from your laptop when using the Ultra II. For Windows XP users, the Sandisk Dashboard software includes a TRIM command you csn click on to help maintain good performance.
Cons: Not quite as fast on measured benchmarks as Samsung EVO and Crucial MX100, but i defy any normal computer user to tell the difference. In other words, they're all so fast you'll be happy. That also goes for older PCs and laptops which have older, slower SATA II hard drive connections.
Overall Review: If you need a mounting bracket and SATA cable for installing an SSD into a desktop computer case you can buy them for a few dollars at Newegg or pay extra for an SSD with upgrade kit included.
