Properly made case for the price. (Review updated c. 1/2020) 1/16/2020 11:11:23 AM

Pros: - Nicely made modern era ATX Mid-Tower case.
- Aesthetics absolutely pleasing, overall.
- Good placement for air intake vents.
- RGB light in the front panel is also a good bonus, as well as the lighting on the power button. Lighting macros also not annoying.
- Acrylic windowed panel is well thought out. Almost no dimming, however.
- Basement has proper ventilation to allow any heat from the hard drives to escape. (Disclaimer: Most hard drives, today, are a lot more efficient than they were twenty years ago.)
- Cable management velcro straps are included in the back of the case.
- Includes two 120mm case fans; one on back, one on front.
- Slightly compact size for limited deskspaces is absolutely beneficial.
- Dust filters on the top, power supply and front intake; the power supply dust filter is removable from the rear. Thank goodness.

Cons: - A bit of case flex on select areas of the frame/case; front and back are mostly apparent.
- Cable management on the motherboard side of the case is okay, at best. May have some trouble storing certain cables on the back; lacks ziptie points on the motherboard side.
- No external 5.25" bay, if you still need one.
- Bottom front intake tends to not be well utilised once you start using 140mm fans, so if you want air coming in to the basement, as well, I highly recommend you use 120mm fans, instead; you're going to have to take out the enclosed panel where the hard drive cage sits, if you want the fan to pull air into the basement.
- Mediocre airflow. Front faceplate presents issues with airflow regarding recirculating warmer air. This makes thermals slightly or significantly higher, especially with higher performance graphics cards.

Overall Review: Coming from a Thermaltake Core V41, which is much taller, longer and wider than this case, I'm happy I don't have a huge case taking over my desk, and, in fact, this allowed me more room for my desk, so I don't always feel like I'm crammed by it, no matter how it was oriented. I was initially going to purchase the Phanteks Enthoo M Pro case, mainly due to the inclusion of an external 5.25" drive bay, but the price, the ultimately flexible windowed side panel (which is what I was trying to get away from in the first place) and its overall size wasn't worth the purchase. Keep note that I am not a big fan of the TG side panel trend that Q3 2017 brought to the market, as I prefer the acrylic side panel since it's built in with the metal frame; I'd take function over form, any day.

As much as I adore high airflow, there comes a time where a change is absolutely needed when it comes to personal preferences, and I do not regret buying this case despite some of the flaws it presents.

If you are concerned about fitting a 160mm tall cooler, do not fear: my Cryorig H5 Universal is able to fit in this case just fine, without having the windowed side panel rub against it; it'll be at the same height the rear case fan will be.

Great to work in, mediocre airflow 3/18/2019 5:20:42 PM

Pros: great cable management and rgb, easy to work in, lots of room to work with, generally solid build quality

Cons: airflow is not good enough. my GPU dropped 10C just by taking off the front panel, and I have 5 fans installed in this case.

Overall Review: would not recommend for 70 bucks. spend some extra money and get a case with better airflow. it'll help later down the line.

Easy to use, good cable management 9/19/2018 9:19:48 AM

Pros: I really love the color of the case. The cable management is pretty good. There is SO MUCH ROOM inside, this is large case with expansion of 4 SSD's and I think 6 HDD's.
The case itself seems to keep my pc cool it usually runs around 59C and I only have the two 120mm fans that it came with.

Cons: I wish the plastic on the side was glass instead of plastic as plastic tends to scratch very easily.

Overall Review: Overall a great product by Phanteks!

Phanteks P400 4/27/2018 2:06:45 PM

Pros: Beautiful case
Wonderful cable management

Cons: The airflow of this case is...pretty bad. I have to run intakes on the top of the case if I want to keep the front on

Overall Review: Wonderful case if your parts are on liquid.

Perfect budget case 4/25/2018 3:57:03 AM

Pros: So, I can’t complain! Look wise it’s alright, it could be better but it makes up for it with the rgb led’s. It’s sleek with a nice feel to it and it’s quite spacious especially if you remove the bottom cage but I chose to divert from that direction because I’m definitely not going the water cooled route. The ssd wall hangers (lol idk what the right for it is called) are right above where the psu is supposed to go, so it limits the distance between cords which is fantastic if you’re into cable management! Air flow is flawless and the vent covers are also a plus in my books! It’s nice.

Cons: I’ll get back to y’all on that if I find one.

Great case and good looking to boot 3/25/2018 1:26:52 PM

Pros: Well put together with plenty of wire routing options, great access, and options for optional upgrades. Looks great, and has quite a few options for the case LED color. Removable screens for ease in cleaning. Well vented. The cable ties downs are a great plus. Easy to make the install look good. Has a cutout section on the back of motherboard mount area that allows you to get to rear mounted M.2 sockets without having to pull the mobo.

Cons: Make sure your power supply cables are LONG and consider the layout of your motherboard. My "proc power" 8 pin almost didn't reach without having to run it across the motherboard over the RAM. That would have looked pretty poor with the window.

Overall Review: I had been watching this case for a while and it's price coming sub $60 had me pull the trigger and use for an existing build upgrade. Make sure your planned PSU install has long cables, or available extensions. The bottom mounted PSU is not a design I would choose first, but other features and design along with looks had me overlook that.

Just to nitpick, with the size of this case and available options for anything from a Mini-ITX up to full ATX mobo, two 3.5 drive bays are just on the edge of being sufficient. It is well described and listed in details, so not an unknown, but there is quite a bit of unused space inside this case where another one or two could easily go.

Overall I would certainly recommend the case.

Looks: Check Sound: Bad 3/8/2018 7:18:28 PM

Pros: Looks great.
RGB LED integrated.
Easy to work in
Sturdy

Cons: Air Flow. Having the front panel for the intake, this thing is starved for air. I can hear and feel my fans ramping up when I remove the front cover. I can also see an immediate drop in temps when I removed the front cover.
Another major con for me is that this case has a vibration issue. Any time I have my system under load, I can hear and feel the side panel virate on the frame. I need to wear headphones with the volume up high to muffle the vibration sound.
