Does the drive come in original retail packaging?

I ordered this drive and it came in OEM packing. i.e. packed in brown box. I used to drive to replace a failing drive on a laptop and it worked fine.

Mine was, I would assume that unless it's marked reconditioned, or previously owned, it's going to be new. Crystal Disk confirmed only my time in setting it up had registered on it.

Would this HDD work with the Lenovo Yoga 2 11?
