It is neither Hybrid, nor SSHD. It is a regular magnetic drive.

Question 3

A 9.5 mm drive went bad.  Any problem using this 7 mm drive in its place?

Since new drive is thinner, it will fit, and it has standard mounting screw holes. Assuming your old drive isn’t ancient, with an IDE connector (not SATA), it should work. If the old drive had lower capacity, make sure the device supports full capacity of new drive.

Does the Sata/Data connections support a regular "Desktop" Cable Connection? Im wanting to install this in my system due to its size and want to be sure its connections are compatible?

Yes, it uses the standard SATA power and data cable connections. If your motherboard ports and SATA data cables support 6GBps transfer, even better. If it's not SATA 6GBps, it'll just downgrade the speed but still work.

Is this hard drive compatible with Asus ROG GL752VW gaming laptop?

Depends, with a 2TB drive size, it will be 7mm thick. This may be too large for your laptop's drive bay. Also, see what your laptop supports in terms of HDD interface (SATA in this case) and what speed it is.

Just an FYI, I used mine for a PS4 HDD upgrade and on occasion I get a brief high pitch noise. Hasn't failed yet on me but I'm getting worried. Just wanted to share.

They are not in a retail package; they are shipped the same as all other drives from everyone including Newegg that do not say "retail package", which may include screws, cables, and brackets as indicated. I suppose that would be considered OEM. The stated warranty is 2 years parts and labor, with various extensions available. They are in a sealed static-free packet and are definitely new.

I got this hard drive for my PS4 Slim, but now whenever I try to use the web browser everything become very slow or unresponsive. Why is this happening?

It functions normally for me. I wouldn't think the HDD per se is the problem. But to check, maybe you can run diagnostics on it, either in the device or by plugging it into an external USB drive dock.
