Overall Review: i have had wd hard drives and they all ways die on my is a couple of years so i switched to seagate and its the most trusted hard drive i have ever had this is number four that i own and i would not trade it for anything

Pros: Retail package, comes with cable, screws, and instructions for a newbie like me. Also comes with discwizard software powered by Acronis for formatting drive and cloning old drive. Has to be one of the easiest and cost effective ways of updating an older computer. Look at what cloning/backup software cost by itself. Fast Newegg shipping.

Cons: I must have done something wrong and can't figure it out, when it copied my op system partition it used 20 GB of space. My old 80 GB hard drive only used 5 GB for partition and that shows up as 15 GB available in the safe/backup partition.

Overall Review: The partition isssue isn't a big deal for me as I didn't buy this hard drive for storage space. I wanted a faster drive and will use my old drive as a disaster recovery backup. Overall I'm pleased with how fast and easy this upgrade was. Thanks Newegg.

Pros: an excellent hard drive. easy to install. i didn't even bother with the software that was included, but i'm sure it works relatively well. also, you can't beat the price.

Pros: Installation manual talks about 48bit Bios required to utilize more than 137GB of Drive. I immedialty broke out in a cold sweat, spent several hours trying to figure if I had that. Bought flash memory upgrade, from another vendor, with 11 pages of instructions I couldn't understand. Downloaded Bios but afraid to death to flash after reading instructions. Finally just connected drive, cloned 71GB from old drive, made new drive primary with cable switch. Works like a dream. Quiet as a misquito landing on a cotton ball.

Cons: Idiot installed upgrade and made simple task rocket science.

Pros: It works fine for me. 320 gigs is great for the price. I would have gotten an OEM, but i wanted to make sure i got all the cords i needed
