I believe it only came with mounting screws. It will fit any 3.5" Bay without any brackets and motherboards usually come with the cables so the drive wouldn't.

If the 2010 Macbook is a lap top computer then the answer is NO. This HD is designed for Desktop computers and its about four times the physical size used in lap tops.

Will this fit into a DELL XPS 7.1 System?

Any SATA 3.5" drive, including the Seagate drive you indicated will fit into the Dell Desktop XPS computers.
However, the data transfer rate for this drive is 3 Gb/s, which is half of the 6 Gb/s SATA bus.  You may want to look at a 6 Gb/s drive for best performance instead.

does this drive come formatted or with a formatting application appropriate for replacement of a tivo hard drive?

I did not you use in a Tivo. The drive appears to be standard drive that requires formatting by the operating systems or a programs to transfer the format, OS and data from a previous drive.

Does this drive fulfils the requirement for video editing purpose? I am replacing the Seagate ST2000DM001 2tb Hard Drive as it got corrupted.

This drive works just fine in my computer and if you know how to do video editing, it will meet the requirements the same as any other good drive would.

This is advertised as a 3GB/s hard drive but in the description it says a 6 GB/s hard drive,
I have ordered from two different companies, including you that is advertising a 3 GB/s hard drive and when I get them they are 6 GB/s hard drives, My question is do you sell new 2 TB 3 GB/s hard drives?

Seagate has update the drive interface from 3 to 6 GBs during the last year.  The 6 and 3 GBs work identically with data transfer rate being the lowest rate common to the motherboard and hard drive.  Usually you want the fastest data transfer rate available, but the disk surface to data transfer interface on these drives is lower than usual due to slower spin speeds.  The overall data throughput would likely be same on the 3 and 6 GBs drives.
