Pros: 1: Seasonic has been cranking out great PSUs for decades. They were the OEM for some of the best PSUs released by other manufacturers, and are a fixture in the workstation space and for critical computing for a reason. They've never designed a bad PSU. Not once in their history. I know they don't seem as romantic as an RGB "gaming" unit, but that's not the point. This is a power supply. The cleaner and more efficient it is, and the more solid, the easier a time your motherboard has sorting out the power delivery. That does make a difference, and at the edge of performance reason, the difference is massive. This isn't a toy. This is an enterprise-grade PSU in drag, and that's why it's worth buying. You're going to have this for thirty years if you like. 2: THANK YOU for the ribbon cables. That's the way these cables need to be manufactured, and the insulation, wire gauge, and connector orientations are wonderful. A ribbon is much easier to route. Not every cable needs to be round. We've been using flat cables for over forty years for a reason. These are expensive cables, with extremely high quality connectors and terminals. 3: On the cable front, they've included just about everything you could need for most builds, including Molex to SATA adapters and even cables with fewer connectors and of varying lengths, which is a huge savings of time and makes management much easier. 4: NOTABLE: Those airflow features on the side are functional. When the PSU fan kicks on, it's going to pull cool air in from outside the case if you like, or help vent the inside if that's how you installed it, but there's another trick... No matter how it's oriented, once that air starts to flow, it pulls warm case air into those vents on it's way out, essentially as a free bonus. Even with a fresh air intake, it's going to help cool the case every now and again. Those things aren't there for style; they're present for FUNCTION. 5: The included accessory bundle is extensive; VERY extensive. You get literally everything you could possibly need for managing those cables. No going to the hardware store for velcro, ties, or anything of the like. It's all included, and unlike when other manufacturers put that stuff in the box, THIS time you get enough to actually do the job and have leftovers. 6: Did I mention the high quality cables? I feel it neccessary to point out that the way they folded the 24 pin cable laid it perfectly clean in three cases I tried. It just plain lined right up with absolutely no effort in three cases with three different motherboards. My word they must have spent some time deciding just where to fold it in shipping, and just how long to make it, as well as connector depth. Don't let anyone tell you the cables seem cheap. Anyone saying that doesn't know what a quality cable feels like. Period. 7: Finish quality and fit are outstanding. Those terminals are flat and straight and high quality; far better than ANYONE else on the market. That milled aluminum Seasonic badge frenched into the back really adds a touch of "Go ahead... Make our day and stick it in a server..." visual quality. It's a heck of a statement of intended use. I seriously dig that badging. It's subjective, but I think it makes a very nice statement and aligns with my preference for stuff that's built properly instead of built to match fads. Metal braking, tolerances, internal components, and even powder quality are far above anything else on the market. It makes some of the most expensive PSUs on the market feel flat-out cheap. You cannot go wrong with this beast.
Cons: I guess I wish the silver grille trim was brushed or matte finished instead of chrome? That's just personal preference. It's easy to pull, and I can wrap, powder, or paint it as required; though powder really doesn't like chrome. Whatever. That's a subjective criticism.
Overall Review: It's essentially perfect.
