I want to make sure this dock is compatible with a Lenovo T410 and that it includes a power cord?

I purchased this for use with a T431s notebook so I can't answer the first part of the question.  It does require a separate purchase of a power cord [40Y7659] for me this happened to not be the same type of power cord as the laptop required.

Yes it does work with the T420. Bought one for use with a T420s. Same dock connector as the T420. Side note this dock only has one monitor head and does not include a power cord.
