Ironsides
I built this solid block of metal around July of last year and its been great, I thought naming it Ironsides was a good way to convey its my armored warship. I started building PCs in 2017 after I graduated college and here recently I build PCs for people on the side for extra money. Ironsides is my personal daily driver build used for everything from gaming to work. It wasnt until last month that I finally had enough to put my whole set up together, I always wanted a four monitor set up. The 7900XTX and Ryzen 9 combo puts anything I run on it in the dust. I got lucky with the RAM, it actually came with the CPU and Motherboard on a discount where I bought them in a bundle. I dont think id ever need more than 96GB of RAM no matter how many Skyrim tree mods I run. I do some VR gaming too and its nothing to Ironsides, no issues there either. I got like a total of 17 fans installed into this beast with an AIO CPU cooler. Im thinking hard about moving into full water cooling but I might do that whenever a better GPU comes out, maybe a Christmas gift one year in the future.

Pride and Joy
My first build where I picked every piece and put it all together myself. It was easier than I was expecting but I was so cautious it took me quite a while. The only issue is the power supply doesn't have output for the 60W USB fast charging header on the motherboard so I won't be charging my phone from this but charging my USB headset is no issue. The case is awesome! Everything that can be connected or set is done for you including 3 fans at the bottom of the case, 2 on the side, and 1 in the back, all connected to a small board that synchronizes the RGB and fans and has open ports for more lights and fans if you need them. Drop in the motherboard, connect the ARGB and fan headers and the front panel cables to your motherboard, connect two power cables to SATA from your power supply and you have synchronized RGB you can toggle through using the button under the power button the front of the case. No extra software needed if you don't want it and there are a ton of preset options. If you have trouble getting it all started, using the USB-C connectors at the top of the rear panel will use integrated graphics and works much better than HDMI which I learned the hard way. If you use any of the other USB-C connectors you will get stuck on diagnostic 04 during boot. I had been using a Lenovo gaming laptop with a 3070 Laptop GPU. Games that would burn my hands on the laptop - at the same graphics settings - the fans on the new PC could handle with fans at minimum speed the whole time. Rainbow colors and fun to use - it's my Pride and Joy.

Recovery Build
My gaming/jack of all trades rig I built in 2007 just hard crashed and would not boot no matter what I tried in the BIOS, change MB battery ect. So it gave me a good reason to upgrade. I reused my Cooler Master Haf X case to keep the costs somewhat down LOL that was funny. Put in I9 14900K, to an Asus Z790 MB, Corsair RGB 64GB RAM, PNY GTX 5080 OC (My last card was a GTX 580 this new card is Enormous), Western Digital 8TB SSD, Asus ROG 850w Power supply, and two Gigabyte 27" monitors that were on sale on the Egg. Don't judge me on cable management it still needs work, but I needed to get my system back up and running as fast as possible. But so far this thing is taking everything I throw at it, Ran FurMark for an hour and temps never went above 165* F. That's pretty decent for a budget I/O cooler and the Haf X is simply a GIGANTIC case with lots of airflow, makes a great chassis to build in.

2023 Home Computer Build
I built this PC in November 2023 using a Ryzen 9 5900X, an ASUS TUF X570 motherboard, 32GB of Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM, a Gigabyte RTX 4060 Ti, and the Cooler Master HAF XB EVO case. I had a friend who owned this case years ago and always liked the look of it, so I finally decided to try it myself. I knew exactly what to expect in terms of size, but I did not have the right desk space for it, which meant it ended up sitting on the floor and became a bit more vulnerable. Even so, the inside of the case is extremely spacious and easy to work in, and being able to open the top and see every component at once makes building and maintenance simple and enjoyable. In daily use the system it's a been a dream. I primarily use it for Elden Ring and Nightreign. The Ryzen CPU and 4060 Ti run quick, cool, and very quiet, and Windows 11 has been crisp and smooth with fast boot times and no hiccups. The layout of the HAF XB EVO keeps everything separated so airflow stays strong even with the Hyper 212 cooler and a basic 700W power supply. Overall the system has handled gaming, work, and writing effortlessly. In December 2024 my daughter accidentally spilled water through the top of the case, hitting the Crucial NVMe SSD and wiping it instantly. The drive was completely unrecoverable, yet every other part of the build survived without any trouble, including the Seagate HDD, the motherboard, and the GPU. After installing a new SSD I was able to get everything running again in minutes, and luckily all my files were backed up on Google Drive. As stressful as the spill was, it ended up showing how robust the rest of the hardware truly is. I am very happy with how this system has performed.
