Usually, yes. It depends on your case and motherboard. If the M.2 slot is buried under cables, coolers, or components, it could prolong the installation process. My case is a Hyte Y70, and all I had to do was disconnect my GPU cable and PCIe riser. It took me about 5 minutes, but it could be even easier for others.
