Is this compatible with acer aspiere s3?

If you are replacing the 320GB drive that's in the device yes it should work in regards to the interface, both drives are Sata.  I would measure the thickness of your current hard drive and compare it to the 500gb drive.  Newegg lists the 500gb at 9.5mm.   Some drives are only 7mm, I'd hate to have you go to put your ultrabook back together and find out the outer case will not seat properly due to the new drive being a tad too large for the drive bay. Reading on the Acer site that your S3 has a recovery partition, make sure you make recovery disks before you change out the drive and save the 320GB drive in case you lose the recovery disks you created.  Newegg also sells enclosures so you can reuse the original 320GB drive as an external.

I have a HP G42 laptop, will this hard drive fit my model laptop? The Specs match ie: 5400, 2.5, SATA, is there anything else i should be aware to confirm its fit?

Most laptops Use a 2.5 SATA drive these days. Most conform to the standards that are sold. I have found a few Drives that are thinner than others, in which I used a non magnetic and non metallic spacer to keep the drive in place. As long as both the old and new drive are SATA and 2.5" you should do fine. I think wester digital drives are good quality.

The model I have is an HP DV6 3025dx (laptop)

When i ran the SN of my old HDD it was discontinued and this model has replaced it.

What is you specific laptop model?

Are you replacing a bad HDD? If so, whats the SN and Model Number of the drive.

Also, please verify that the speed (5400RPM) is the same as the drive you are replacing.

Short answer:  maybe.  Many of the new versions don't use an actual hard drive.  If yours does, my guess is that it will work.  I would need more specifics to be sure, however.

Yes, it should replace your dell 1535 laptop hdd nicely.  Just remember to keep the hard drive caddy that is on the current drive or it will not fit.

It is not a Blu-ray player itself, but it can be installed as the hard drive for a PC that has a Blu-ray player attached to it.

sounds like your harddrive has failed you need to buy another. Most western digital are good and last a long time  for some reason there is a lemon found now and then.  how long have you had it is the warantie still good.  check and see.

Is this compatible with a Dell Latitude D630?

Excellent question.  You're very smart for asking that.  I bought similar drives at 320 gigs for my dell latitude d610 - only to discover that the bios can only see 120 gigs.  I didn't realize that and installed xp, and everything was fine, until some of the boot information got moved past the 120 that the bios could see, and my xp wouldn't start.  The answer is to format two partitions, 120 gigs, and all the rest as a second partition.  That way the bios can always see the first partition, and xp can see everything.  You can tell if that might occur with your bios, by putting in the drive, even as a raw uninitialized drive, and seeing what your bios says is the disk size.  If it says 120, then that's the partition size you need to set for your operating system.  Best wishes, Rich
