Is this card a good choice for an upgrade from the 3060?

I upgraded to this card from a 3080. So in my opinion yes. Make sure to do your own research before you buy because this is just my opinion.

Does this card have a significant size? Should I be concerned about the space in my PC case?

It's a big one. In inches it's about 13.5 x 5.04 x 2.17 and in cm it's about 34.4 x 12.8 x 5.5 Hope that helps.

Can this graphic card handle games at high settings on a 1440p monitor?

I play everything on high and I use a 32inch 1440p monitor. In my opinion it's great for what your asking about.
