Powerful Card!!! 10/8/2018 9:51:18 AM

Pros: This card has no trouble playing all the newest triple A title games to come out above 60fps. Has no trouble hitting 144fps on my 1440p 144Hz monitor in most games. Definitely recommend for high end gaming. In my opinion XFX build quality is second to none.

Cons: None so far!

Overall Review: VEGA loves water!!! I bought this as a second card for my custom water loop. Both VEGA's stay 40C @ 90 - 100% load constant with EK waterblocks. Runs at 1677MHz boost clock constant on water!!!

Love it so much I am going to get onother one for Crossfire! 10/5/2018 11:15:32 AM

Pros: The XFX RX Vega 64 video card rocks! I have owned so many computer parts and peripherals I could probably start a store for used parts. That being said, my personal rigs all have had XFX components in one way shape or form.
I just swapped out my current set up, took out 2 R9 290's in crossfire. Replaced them with 1 Vega 64. This card is the real deal! Totally out performs the crossfire 290's! I'm not dogging my 290's those cards are going in another build, the 290's still hold their own. Oh and the r9 290's are also XFX.
I run a big case and none of my other components get hot. In fact my favorite style video cards are the reference style. All the heat exhausts out the back like they are supposed to! Yes this card gets hot, it is designed to. I never overclock any of my components because they are so fast why?? Their are no higher settings. All my games and graphics get set on the highest possible, even in my Oculus Rift. Nothing slows this card down! I love that I can control the squirrel cage fan!
-My current set up:
Gigabyte 990fx-Gaming MB
Amd FX 9590 Water cooled
XFX 1250 PSU
XFX Vega 64 video card
32 GB 1600 ram
Samsung 512 M.2 drive for Operating system
6 OCZ Vector 180 SSD's 256GB each in RAID0 for games and storage.
ASUS pro art 27 inch monitor 2560 x 1440

Cons: Its not slow!

Very Good card 9/5/2018 5:04:04 PM

Pros: Fastest card you can get with your cheaper FreeSync Monitor, Nothing beats it!
AMD did a good job with this card!
This card is a monster handles anything I throw at it ,, works great for games and CAD work, its all around great card.
IF you have a freesync monitor then this is the card for you!

Cons: Improvements could be made with power draw.

Overall Review: There are a lot of haters out there that bleed green, don't listen to them if you have a freesync monitor this will make you very happy. I run all games ULTRA SETTINGS on my 2560x1080p ultra wide monitor and it runs them very smooth no problems at all ,, I even hooked up a second monitor and tried running two games at one time and it still got very good FPS, You can not go wrong with this monster of a GPU! Can not wait for the new VEGA stuff to come AMD is kicking some but!!

I consider myself lucky I bought it when I did 4/2/2018 11:32:11 AM

Pros: - I managed to buy it right before the bubble
- Plays every game on Ultra at 60fps (I run at 900p so idk what to expect for 1080 or higher)
- Will likely improve with FineWine

Cons: - I now can't recommend it to anyone due to availability issues
- Power consumption is absolutely insane.

Amazing at or close to MSRP 2/12/2018 4:08:51 PM

Pros: Runs games great on ultra
overclocking utility is very friendly
amazing performance especially if you add a waterblock
Been running 2 cards in two different systems since october without any issues

Cons: Price and availability, At MSRP this card was an amazing buy but AMD did nothing to protect its target market. They basicly let the miners take this card away from any glory it would have ever reached. Hopefully AMD will get smart and find a way to let owners of cards monitor the hours of use on a secondhand card. and not let cards used for mining transfer their warranty to a secondhand buyer to make the selfish miners pay for all the grief they have cause the gaming community

Overall Review: Card Gets Better with every update i currently have two since October, One in my gaming rig and one in my workstation.
as far as heat and sound i am coming from an r9 290x and this card is quieter and cooler that that card ever was.
I have sice upgraded my gaming card with an ekwb waterblock and performance is through the roof with it. I mean i havent had a team green card since my 580ti but i have been a happy amd customer for awhile

Good, not Great 11/21/2017 11:34:10 AM

Pros: -Perfect 60 FPS with maxed out settings @ 1440p on Witcher 3, Overwatch, and Heroes of the Storm when paired with my Ryzen 7 1700x (can go over 100 FPS on Heroes).
-Well built card overall, no sagging expected.
-Looks great, beautiful card.
-I have seen even better performance when paired with an i7 or higher.

Cons: -Hot, requires a custom settings within Wattman to accomplish good clock speeds.
-Wattman presets will not cool this card; will GPU throttle at presets.
-Loud at custom fan curve 3000 RPM; will require this to cool effectively.
-Power hungry card; I have a 760W PSU.
-Increase to +15% power to maintain good boost clocks.

Overall Review: -AMD enthusiasts should wait for custom cards, but expect high power usage.
-I really like this card, but would reconsider a 1080 ti if I could.
-Bottom line is this is a good but not great card.

Great GPU, works fabulously with my Freesync 1440p 144Hz monitor. 11/16/2017 1:18:04 PM

Pros: Games are smooth and immersive. I see a huge improvement over my previous R9 Fury, way more than I expected to be honest.

So far, (with the little time I've had), I have tested out Titanfall 2, Thumper, Star Wars Battlefront, Warframe, Mirror's Edge Catalyst, and The Witness. I was able to max out all of these and stay well within my Freesync range at all times. Frame pacing is very consistent. Just buttery smooth goodness all around. Minimum framerates seem to be noticeably high, and stutters are extremely rare.

The physical build quality of the card itself is extremely solid and classy, loving the minimalist design of the card. The GPU tachometer is neat, but not very useful in my opinion. I do appreciate the option to change colors or even turn it off entirely, props to AMD for that.

Cons: The cooler is louder than I would like when under heavy load, but it's a blower cooler, so I knew this going in. Regardless, the sound isn't obnoxious at all in my opinion; it's a very easily ignored, (and almost pleasant), white noise. If you're hypersensitive to noise I'd recommend you either wait for a non-reference cooler or buy a water block for this one. (Or use the included power-save mode in Wattman.) I suspect I'll be able to make it quieter and cooler with a tuned custom fan curve and some undervolting, (apparently Vega undervolts quite well!), but I haven't gotten around to testing the limits of the card just yet.

While the power needed to drive the card is somewhat higher than the comparable Nvidia card, the actual cost of electricity is so small that it would take *multiple years* of heavy gaming for it to add up to the cost of what I would have ended paying for a GTX 1080 and a Gysnc monitor.

Overall Review: For what I paid, (499$), I would absolutely recommend this card. The current performance/price is more than acceptable to me, and there is also the possibility of future drivers improving performance. (*cough* Finewine™ *cough*). But as I just said, even if there were no further performance improvements, (which I strongly suspect there will be), I would still be very happy with this purchase.
