• Brand new HDD/SSD should be partition and format it first under disk management, then it can be used normally, otherwise it cannot be used. If the hard drive is not recognized at all, it is possible that the issue could be related to the lack of partitioning on the new drive. Please do not hesitate to contact our customer support.
• Auto-sleep after 10min of data inactivity. Note: the auto-sleep function can be adjusted with the softaware.
• Be sure to pay attention to the difference is the screw types (wider threads secure drive to sled; tighter threads secure sled to enclosure),Make sure you have the right ones for your drives before starting.**
