Can this graphics card handle high-resolution gaming?

I am using it with a 1440p monitor. In Battlefront II I am getting up to 180fps with 1% lows around 100fps. In more graphically intense games it might struggle though. When I was researching most people seemed to recommend pairing this with a 1080p monitor. As long as you are okay playing with graphics settings turned down you can probably get away with pairing it with a 1440p.
