5 out of 5 eggsMore Than fast enough for a second computer for the kids

Pros: - Inexpensive, Modern, Energy Efficient

Cons: - Considering the price, nothing

Other Thoughts: paired with a small SSD, and a hand-me-down HD7770, this CPU computer flies remarkably well through Minecraft - it's not a hard-core gamer, of course, but it runs most of what I play perfectly fine

5 out of 5 eggsGreat processor, Great performer

Pros: I use this on a pfsense router, it runs non-stop and the fan is dead silent. It is in a closet, but if it were used in a living room or bedroom it would be just fine. It works great for what I use it for. It may be a little over kill for pfsense, but its really the best processor for the amount of money you are spending.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Completely recommend. Great for a budget build.

4 out of 5 eggsGood processor

Pros: No issues. Runs as it should.

Cons: Fan is a slight negative. This processor is supposedly shipped with a heat sink / fan supplied by three different vendors. Mine is labeled Foxconn. I have the bios fan speed set to quiet. It's pretty inaudible during the day. At night if it's dead quiet I can slightly hear it. It's a bit of a guttural sound not a soothing whoosh of air.

Other Thoughts: The SSD makes the computer feel very responsive so more power feels unnecessary for use as a home office computer. The comparison performance charts for the next three Pentium processors up weren't all that much better so they didn't seem worth the extra money. If you're going to jump I'd go for the i3 to make any meaningful difference.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value and more

Pros: - Great dual core performance for a low priced processor
- Supports virtualization in hardware - very useful
- Low power consumption, estimate m/b + CPU about 20 watts at idle

Cons: - wasn't free :-) .... ObNewegg joke.

Other Thoughts: - Unlike the terrible delivery time and tracking by the USPS 'partnerships' used with Super Eggsaver free shipping, most of this order was delivered ~400 miles in TWO days by Ontrac Ground - great job, Ontrac!
- Unfortunately, if your order is light / small and doesn't require at least a medium size box it will go into the USPS black hole. It took TEN DAYS to go 30 miles from Newegg to my home when it used to take two or three. Please Stop these partnerships, Newegg!
- Short advice to other customers: try to include something bulky in your order when using the free shipping alternative. The 3 day option is looking better ....

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Used this is my first build, running good! Runs win 10 pro fine plays WoW/LoL ultra with a gtx 750 and 4g ram. Stock cooler should handle what your using this for.. If you plan to over lock, wouldn't suggest it. I haven't tried yet but don't expect to. If I planned to over clock probably would've gotten a i7 and liquid cooler.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for low end build

Pros: I f you only stream videos, surf the web, check E-mail etc. this is a great budget solution. It will play low end games that only use Direct X 9 if you slap in a Geforce GTX 750.

Cons: You won't be playing Far Cry 4 or the Witcher 3 but what do you want for 45 bucks. This is for a non-gamer.

5 out of 5 eggsPerforms surprisingly well.

Pros: Ideal for testing, cheap to replace.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I purchased this 1150 socket processor for testing possible faulty motherboards. It's perfect for that role.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat CPU for budget build

Pros: Price, Speed is faster than expected for a Celeron, low power usage

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Used in new budget build, paired with 8GB ram and OCZ Trion SSD, boots Win10 in few seconds and runs very smoothly for the most part, only tested for a few days, will check back with client to see how it goes. Recommended for average users.
