Pros: Easy to install in no time and for the price its its great.

Cons: Its crash with no warning, one day its running fine and the next minute crash.

Pros: Wow, I never write reviews because frankly I am too lazy and dont have the time. This replaced an IBM Travelstar 100gb 7200 Rpm made on August 9 2006 because I needed more space on my thinkpad (I have lots of junk on my computer). This new drive is much quiter, and faster. I keep my HD defragmented, and my OS and startup lean, but this made a bid difference. Everything is faster and quiter.

Other Thoughts: Great drive, I have had lots of hard drives of all types, and dont really notice a big difference, until I got this one.

Pros: I switched over to the 2.5" drives for my desktop because these little guys are much quieter.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: If high capacity SSDs were cheaper, I would probably get those instead.

Pros: 320Gb Works great in 0Raid more room on my Laptop than I'll ever need.

Cons: Um didn't come with a Golden Ticket to Willy Wonka's Candy Shop

Pros: Great price, Seagate reliability and of course NewEgg's insanely fast shipping. Got it to me in one day for the price of three day!

Other Thoughts: The Lenovo laptop came with a Seagate 100 gb. Popped this baby in, copied everything over with Acronis and done! Feels a bit faster, Windows Experience Index went from a 4.9 to a 5.8 for "disk data transfer rate". Forget Western Digital, Seagate Rulez!

Pros: I bought this drive for my Macbook pro. I installed it, transferred my old drive image over and there was a significant improvement to my system speed. This was more noticeable in bootcamp than OS X.

Cons: None that I have found!

Pros: Replaced a failed hard drive in a friend's laptop with this one. Runs great! Runs much faster than his last 5400rpm drive. He noticed a considerable speed improvement.

Other Thoughts: This is a upgrade of a fujitsu 5400rpm in T60p notebook. This HDD is much better than my old one which has those "clicking" sounds from the day one. But, that is over 2.5 year old drive and technology has changed alot. If you are upgrading an old drive, you can only notice the pros, not the cons from others review

Pros: This laptop Hard Drive is great! Fast and Reliable. Installed in an Early 2006 Macbook Pro. Considerably faster than my other one!

+ Quieter than previous factory drive
+ Less vibration during heavy reading/writing

Once more it takes no time for my computer to start from a cold shut-down. On my previous hard drive, it took around 30 seconds to completely load the OS, now it does it in under 10!

Cons: Haven't witnessed any yet.

Other Thoughts: If you are new or unsure of which brand to pick, I HIGHLY recommend Seagate. I am a professional video editor and I ONLY use Seagate drives for my media. This particular one for my laptop is only meant for application launching and other things, where as I use multiple external hard drives to store media. I have three Seagate HD's and NONE have experienced problems (even after accidental drops).

* Just as a precautionary note, I would HIGHLY recommend professional installation on internal HD's especially in older titanium Macbook Pro's. There are plenty of ribbon cables and connectors to unplug and go through to get to the HD, which if broken could be costly. If you get a external 2.5" enclosure, you can use Migration Assistant to transfer data to your new HD, which is a cost saver. Go to any computer shop and they can put it in for $40. Well worth it IMHO.
