The result is the SimpleDrive Portable, a 320GB, 5400RPM hard drive enclosed in a case that looks as stylish as an Italian sports car. But it isn't all show and no go; that high spindle speed combined with the USB 2.0 interface transfers data extremely quickly.
You can use the drive as a plug and play storage device since your computer will recognize it as a drive and give it a letter just like your internal hard drive. Or you can use it as a backup device with the included StorageSync automatic backup software.
