Pros: - At a very cheap price for a mid-low end hard drive, good for any simple workstation build
Cons: - Has gradually slowed down over time, these days it's a pain just to copy a few small files.
Pros: Great hard drive for a great price.
Cons: I didn't find anything to complain about.
Pros:
Booted it up and formatted the HDD and installed an OS. No problems.
Ran smooth, was quiet, no clicking and no stutters or delays.
Still running.
Cons: Haven't had any problems so far. Rated it 4 stars as I have had only a week so far.
Other Thoughts: I would recommend this HDD for people who use their PC for everyday use.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I would recommend this to others.
Pros: Drive shows no power ons and no hours used. So it is "new"
Cons:
1) Drive is dated 2010. So, its 7 years old. Unused, but still 7 years old.
2) Seller states 2 years warranty THROUGH Western Digital. However, WD refused to register this product for warranty as it is an OEM drive. So what warranty does it have? None? 2 years? 1 Year? Through who?
Other Thoughts: Not sure I would purchase this again (or other drives from this vendor) simply because it's warranty is totally unknown.
Pros: WD
Cons: These HDDs are 8 years old. All 5 returned.
Pros: These replaced smaller and older 80 GB drives in a couple of old PC's. Well worth the price.
Cons: none yet.
Other Thoughts: They do seem to run hot but I don't think that will be a problem. Fairly quiet drives.

Pros: It's quiet. It's big (320GB w/ a 16MB buffer). It's WD. It's SATA. It was certified good enough to allow the extra 3 year warranty purchase, which I bought. The whole package (drive, XTD warranty and shipping -about $30. I'm a real cheapskate). It's a physical drive, which I like. QUICK access/data transfer time; moved 17 GB of data from a SSD to it in under 15 minutes.
Cons: None, that I can determine.
Other Thoughts: Bare bones is good. Even if a jumper isn't required to use it as a storage drive, it would be nice to have at least one jumper supplied. I'd recommend this drive type AND the seller from whom it came. The seller included lit that suggests "if you have issues/problems, we are available to help." that's always good. I am always optimistic that I won't need to contact a seller who seems this transparent and ready to help.
