What does it mean to have an enterprise HDD and would it be able to be used as a normal storage drive at home?

A SAS3 interface on this drive is not compatible with SATA host port on your motherboard. It requires some kind of SCU, either onboard or HBA.

Is this an OEM drive or retail ? Does hitachi honor the warranty or will it be through Newegg ?
