Pros: -Runs all the games I want it to.
Cons: -Runs a bit toasty under full load.
Overall Review: Genuinely one of the best chips I've seen in a long time for the price. The 3100 is also great, but this is outstanding.
Pros: Good, works with 3200mhz ram 16gb DDR4
mobo: AsRock B450M Pro4 (needs bios 3.90p but mobo came with it already)
Overall Review: Great CPU, slightly better than my i7-7700k
Pros: Best bang for price!
Overall Review: Worth the very little price for this small but efficient cpu! Perfect for gaming! Now my video card is my bottle neck and not the other way around.
Pros: Got this because of the bang-for-the-buck hype ... wasn't disappointed. I've been hesitant to move off of Intel but this has made me a believer.
Overall Review: Running PLEX on this in my new server with a B450 motherboard easily plays 5 HD streams simultaneously with the CPU putting along at ~40%.
Pros: -An excellent upgrade from the AM3+ cpus (FX-4350) I had, 3 times faster.
-More bang for your buck.
-When paired with the Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200mhz 16gb 2x8 Memory it seems unstoppable. (1:1)
Cons: - None so far
Overall Review: I definitely recommend This CPU for you first budget by
Pros: Great budget cpu and very fast coming from an fx8150.
Overall Review: Bought 28th June, received 8th July. Considering this was shipped from China thats some good timing. Although the biggest problem I had was that the tracking via newegg never updated. It was stuck on label created from the time I purchased to the time I received it.
It arrived in the typical ryzen packaging with the included fan, the font on the fron of the box in the corner is in Chinese but otherwise the print on the cpu itself is your standard ryzen letters and in English.
I'm coming from a FX 8150 so the difference between this 3300x and that is night and day. I wanted to get started on an AM4 but didn't want to go all out just yet and this 3300x is great to start out with on a budget. Now I have a board capable of accepting the higher ryzen cpus when I'm ready to upgrade again.
Pros: Runs very well, haven't had much time to put it through its paces yet but it runs Overwatch better than my R5 1600x, keeping frames over 250 FPS at nearly all times.
Cons: Windows Task Manager always reports the speed at "3.79GHz" instead of fluctuating up and down with load - install Ryzen Master software to see accurate readings.
The very first boot up gave me a black screen (and nearly a heart attack) for some reason - fortunately the next attempt booted up and after a CMOS reset just for reassurance I was in business.
Overall Review: Runs great with
ASRock AB350M Promontory
2x 16GB Crucial Ballistix DDR4-3000
Sapphire PULSE RX 5600XT.
It's really something that I was able to upgrade my current PC with a new chip that is also faster and less expensive than buying a used i7 6700K to drop into my secondary PC.
Overall Review: Definitely recommend for any budget builds. If main goal is just gaming and not streaming with, def best budget cpu.
