So I am using an X670, but you can go for the B650 if you'd like. The B-Series MoBos used to be such a good deal but now they're closer in price to the X-Series, so I just opt for those. I didn't really care about the RAM speed, but you have to use DDR5 with these chips. I know Intel's Alder Lake platform let you choose MoBos based on what type of RAM you wanted. With RAM, speed doesn't necessarily matter as timings and which CL model it is come into play as well. I would say just get a decent DDR5 dimm from a reputible brand and you'll be fine. I know that GKillZ Trident series play partiularly nice with Ryzen chips. But one cool thing about the latest Ryzen chips is they have a hidden secret, that being a small integrated Vega graphics present in the infrastructure. This is especailly good because I use this chip for my NextCloud server so I don't need a GPU/dedicated graphics card to see anything, so I use my PCIe x16 slot for more m.2 SSDs. Also great for troubleshooting.
