The Blackmagic Design Mini Converter SDI Distribution 4K combines powerful performance in an ultra-compact design, ideal for a variety of broadcast, post production, and professional AV applications. It distributes a single SDI source to eight re-clocked SDI outputs. It supports automatic switching between all SD-SDI, HD-SDI, 3G-SDI and 6G-SDI video formats, plus all ASI, ancillary and embedded audio formats. The support for Ultra HD 4K ensures impressive image quality. Its settings are easy to control, giving you the ultimate convenience. A 12V power supply with international socket adapters is also included for powering the device.
A high-performance mini converterThis Mini Converter supports all SDI-related transmission features, including embedded audio, ancillary data, and even handles ASI signals – asynchronous signals that can be delivered at varying transmission speeds. It automatically detects the input signal type, re-clocks it, and its eight outputs automatically match the SDI input video format.
Ultra HD 4K supportUsing 6G-SDI technology, this Mini Converter supports resolutions up to Ultra HD 4K (3840 x 2160) at up to 30 fps and DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) at 24 fps, as well as SD, HD, and 3G-SDI signals.
Easy to useThe Mini Converter's settings can be easily controlled through the built-in DIP switches, or via USB by using the included software for Max OS X or Windows computers. The USB port also enables the firmware to be updated.
