Does this have cache on nvme drive or does it use ram from the pc for caching?

The Crucial P310 has speeds past 7000mb/s using crystal diskmark, and is faster than my Samsung 980 Pro. To answer your question IS a DRAM-less SSD. Instead it uses Host Memory Buffer (HMB) by borrowing a small amount of your system’s RAM (typically 64 MB) to store the map of where data is located on the drive. It also uses Dynamic SLC Cache to handle fast bursts of data, it uses a portion of its storage as a high-speed "SLC cache."
