I havent upgraded for awhile, and this board has everything I could want. Plenty of USBs and 10Gbe built in. I paired it with a 9950x and compatible memory with tight timings and everything booted the 1st time. I updated the Bios to the latest and couldnt be happier.
Nice board. Will need time to see if it is really good. But first impression is good. And the price was lower than I expected for A new release. Impressed with the rigidity of this board. Very well made.
Built this around the Ryzen 9 9900X CPU with 32 GB of ram. Like the manual states that when you first booting up it takes about 3 min. for the debug in the BIOS to recognize the hardware and works great. Very Pleased.
ITX is already very high priced and the worst in terms of price-to-performance as it is but when compared to other AM4 ITX boards this one checks off all the boxes. Good value when ITX is your only option for a small build. Perfect match in the Thermaltake Tower 100. Best ITX case I've built in and I've built quite a few.
I went through 4 other motherboards from other manufacturers before finding one that would post with my 9800x3D. I had a good experience with my media pc running a B650M Riptide so figured I'd try one for my ATX refresh. So far, I've had no issues with it but haven't had much time with the board. There are a handful of reddit posts about dead 9800x3Ds, but supposedly AMD and ASRock is aware of it. Best I can tell my voltages look good and nothing seems to be out of sorts with PBO DISABLED. Memory training is fast, MCR works fine. I'm running on 64GB of G. Skill 6000CL30 Hynix memory that was not on the QVL, but has been flawless so far. M2 slots work well enough
Pairing this board with Ryzen 7 9800X3D and RX 7900 XTX and (2x32) 64GB RAM, I'm getting a mind blowing performance in both gaming and productivity work loads like 3D rendering and modeling video/photo editing, OBS streaming/endcoding etc... and the system is super stable ! Definitely this is the Best Mini ITX board, I love it !
Fits all the features you want in a small package -Supports USB4 -Supports Wifi7 -Lots of temp sensors on the board and temps look great all around -Tool free install on the SSD is a nice touch. -Easy connect/disconnect on the GPU/PCI slot is a nice touch. -The built in cooler for the SSD works great.
Has a lot of RGB and ARGB connections along with 6 fan points and 6 SATA slots, but what I like best are the options for 2 - M.2 slots that are available. The color choises for the graphice on the card are great as well.
I am glad I paid a bit of extra for a brand new product. It has 3x m2 slots, with a massive, shared heat spreader plate. Has some features to ease installation, e.g. an easy access button to "Eject" the video card, "click" locks for m2 cards ( vs the usual stand-off and screw) . Using it with a Zen 5 series Ryzen 7 CPU, installation was fairly easy. I think it is worth it to step up to B850 from B650, I had endless trouble with the latter. Comes with a nifty little caddy/adapter to make it easier to hook up the front panel lights and switches. It is a little plastic "spacer" that the individual connectors snap into. You can then just plug in the whole contraption into the motherboard. Hard to describe, but will make sense once you see it. Because of the thick heat spreaders, it is pretty heavy.
-PCI-E 4.0 -Stable -Good value for money for usb ports/NVME and the like -Solid BIOs that isn't confusing for new builders. -Wifi (for those who use it)
Plenty of m.2 slots for matx Plenty of fan and argb headers Looks really good for the price point
Easy set up basic function delivered well
Very easy to set up, manuals are all online for reference. Very intuitive, lots of options.
-luxury M.2 expansion -10G network adapter -enough power supply for at least 7950X
- New chipset - Feels solid, good quality - Still has a comport which I like and use - Noctua NH-D12L fit no problem - Worked and no problem solving needed. Certainly won't detect some HW without drivers.
This was a great upgrade and I'm happy to try out asus mobo. I hope asus has just as good longevity like my 12yr gigabyte gaming mobo. The bios features are solid and runs wonderfully smooth.
-Value -Build quality -Gigabyte Control Center
Easy to install Convenient port placement USB-C support on front and rear I/O
Three NVME slots PCIE 5.0 for the latest GPUS PCIE 5.0 for the latest NVME down the road Lots of fan and argb headers Great thermal design Great easy to use Bios
The board is well laid out and solid The heat sinks do a good job, including those over the SSDs BIOS is easy to work with despite having an almost overwhelming number of options and settings Minimal RGB, which for me is a plus Windows installation was very quick and easy It passed Memtest and various burn-in stress tests at the XMP profile regardless of how long it took to boot It has been extremely stable thus far
