Handles everything I throw at all

Set this CPU in a new AM4 socket motherboard, installed them in a previously AM3 Phenom II powered system and had it up and running with Windows 10 with no issues. Included cooling fan is impressive. Will definitely keep a 65 watt CPU cool.

I ordered this processor to go in a new PC build I'm doing. I put this in a ASUS Sabertooth MK I mobo. My initial experience with setting up my computer with this processor was an issue because I could not load past the bios screen due to extreme temperatures. Upon the initial install using the box cooler, the processor was running at a temperature of 88C which was outrageous. I received my swifter h140x the following day and set it up and tried running starting up the pc again, the processor was running at about 31C. I have a feeling the processor was just sitting in the socket improperly to generate that much heat? Either way, now it's running at 4.765 GHz and at 51C which is fantastic.

Ryzen has become impressive, and either it or the FX line are good choices for those who wish to avoid Intel and certain questionable issues and associations they've had and made over the years. Hint: despite outward appearances, part of intel is *not* actually HQ'd in the USA. Look into what led up to, and after "MobilEye."
