This is a nice upgrade. undervolted through the bios, sits nice and cool at 45c on air. was a little skeptical about upgrading since it's so new, but it's been stable.

Always been a fan of AMD. This processor does not disappoint. Graphic performance is superb for my purposes as I am not a gamer.

6 physical cores with 12 threads. PBO allows it to overclock about as far as it can realistically go, automatically. (no risky overclocking settings needed) Runs much cooler than the previous generation. Outperforms all but 59 other CPUs in multicore workloads, most of which are server chips. Outperforms all but 10 other CPUs for single-threaded performance. (the 3600x is the only other chip within $100 that beats this for single-thread in that 10, $150 if you exclude the sole server CPU)

It lives up to it's specs. I won't be overclocking this thing, so can't speak to that. It's easy to install - orient it correctly and just drops into place.

-Super nice upgrade from my previous haswell i7-4790K -8 cores, I doubled my core count and there are differences in speed off the bat -Smartcaching -New chips seem to have better thermals? -Easily overclockable, 5Ghz is cake for this processor -Runs relatively cool with a Corsair H60 2018 (28C idle, 58C load)

Decent CPU for starting a new gaming rig on a budget

Performance at it's peak at 14nm Manages to compete with AMD 5800X/5900X 5.1Ghz all core stable!!! much wow! PCIe 4.0! Z590 motherboard choices are beefy af Thunderbolt 4/USB 4

Love this CPU. Upgraded from a Ryzen 5 7600 and due to cash constraints did not buy new. Risked it and bought this one cause I needed more cores. This sucker is FAST. LOVE having 32 THREADS AVAILABLE.

Love the product and the pricing was insanely killer. Great time right now to buy from the egg. Processor been working 2 months no, zero regrets.

- Stays really cool and offers impressive performance - Has been compatible with every component in my B550 AM4 build - Chip is performing above expectations without any OC enabled, I would recommend leaving the stock profile as it appears to be optimal - Keeps cool, I haven't ever passed 69C on a stress test (internal fans not ramped) - CPU does not stutter at all and handles anything you throw at it - Delivery arrived well before earliest estimated date

Runs @ 4.0 native mode has software that will overclock it to the max Water cool this and you are fixed for life this much lower price than I paid for the original , but I don't ever intend to upgrade

This thing is smoking fast i could not be happier.
