Great buy. Super thankful they produced these again. Best upgrade for any AMD4 rig if you don't want to be **** in the *** by AMD5 and the current high prices thanks to gonk AI data centers. Runs fast. Everything on my comp is much faster now. Snappy. Games work beautifully on it. Pretty much a solid 20% boost to FPS and performance.. The cooling pad it came with is doing its job perfectly too. Full load I'm getting only 61-63c. By I'm running a dual fan/dual tower air cooler.

I've been an AMD fan since 2000. This 12 core 7000 series X3D is a great workstation machine. Somewhere I read in the mainboard literature to use the first premade algorithm in the BIOS if you just wanted a really fast workstation.

A monster of a processor

Easy install works great!

I just put my new computer together yesterday, I was building with this Ryzen 9900X and the Radeon RX 9070 XT with 64 GB Ram at 6000 MHZ. I was upgrading from a 5600x and an RTX 2080 Super, the difference has been very noticeable. Everything is loading up faster and gameplay has been very smooth. I'm running a 240 AIO on this CPU and so far, the temps have been stellar. Idle, it's under 40c and while playing games it's sticking to about 60c.

This cpu will perform almost as well as the 7950X3D for a much lower price tag. I doubt the average user would notice any difference outside of benchmarks.

This cpu is really fast

Had an article pop up about the i5-14500 being on sale on newegg, I was happy with my 12th gen and didn't really think I needed an upgrade. But I was also planning on buying BF6, so when I saw a bundle with both items I couldn't resist! Got a little bump on FPS for most games and I get to play BF6 on launch. Couldn't be happier

Chip performance is solid for a 12th generation processor, this cpu will do well for gaming and anything I throw at it. Have it installed on an Asrock Z690 Phantom Gaming 4 motherboard which I am happy with. Lots of options and easy bios configuration and setup.

I upgraded from a Ryzen 5 3600, to the 5600 on an old Asrock B350 board. I wasn't sure if I'd see much of an improvement, but for $129 why not? I'm very pleasantly surprised. It scores roughly 35% better in 3DMark CPU profile. Noticeable minimum fps improvement and fps gain with a 6700xt. Super happy with the gain for the price.
