After searching and comparing I concluded that this CPU is best value for money. And one that will last for years. [My i3 lasted for 10 years without a hitch].

i ordered this product to keep the price down on a new pc build for my client, this cpu is way more than they needed to do the job that they wanted, worked perfectly, over all cost for this pc was around $500.00 and he was very happy with the end results.

Keeps real cool with a 360mm water cooler

Way more than I need

I don't need gaming or other heavy lifting for a CPU. I just needed a cool, quiet, modern platform that will last me for a good number of years. I chose Intel over AMD as I find Intel's Quick Sync hardware capabilities to be better in my application for a media server. This CPU fit the bill. It's the cheapest option to get into a socket 1851 platform at this time with no budget oriented Ultra 3, Pentiums, or Celeron chips available. Having 10 cores available is nice to have, but a bit overkill for my application. I am pleased with the CPU. It stays cool and quiet. The stock cooler has a copper core and is VERY quiet! It does everything I need.

So, it's fast. Faster than the 5800X and most AM4 CPUs. It ran fine out the box, at the listed speeds in the specs. However, you can dial in manual settings in bios, (without voiding the warranty). Just a little nudge here and there, undervolt this here, and voila... over 5 GHz boost clock. Running at 65-70 watts. All chips are different though. The one you get could be slower or faster.

Easy to replace my 3700x The improvement in speed is noticeable.

Excellent unopened package wrapped great.

Chip performance is solid for a 12th generation processor and thoughthere have been comments concerning this cpu running hot I am not having any problems with it as I am using an MSI double size water cooling system. So far cpu is staying in the low to mid 30's.Have not run any performance test yet but believe this cpu will do well for gaming and anything I throw at it. Have it installed on an MSI Z790 pro wifi motherboard which I am happy with. Lots of options and easy bios configuration and setup.

- Fast CPU - Runs cool - Great price

- Massive upgrade from my 10th gen Intel i7 10700k - Great Price - Runs efficiently and at low temperature - Runs everything I need with no lag
