I have previously used many other Antivirus and Malware protection on my PC. However, they always slow the boot up down and practically everything else. The ESET Antivirus doesnt seem to slow anything down! Its quite amazing. I often buy when there are deep discounts and thats why I wound up with Norton or MacAffee or AVE. You think I would learn my lesson but Im a sucker for inexpensive products.

Very little system impact. No noticeable slowdown even on an older machine. Also it doesn't interfere with gaming thanks to gaming mode. The UI is a little complicated but manageable.
