It feels sturdy. Mouse pad was cut to fit the entire desktop. Looks and feels nice even without the mouse pad. I'm 6' 3" and it fits me well. Plenty of room for two monitors, maybe more depending on how you mount them. You can mount the optional hardware on either side (hook and cup holder) but we opted for not at all. Then we changed our minds and installed the hook. This was easy even after it was assembled. Oh it came with a decent philips screwdriver and obligatory 4mm hex key.
