Good Looking Motherboard
Pros are the blue tooth and wireless built in. They board also allows flexibility in storge types
As usual, at least in my experience, ASUS products have been solid performers. I use ASUS motherboards in all my computer builds, never had one mal-function.
- Lots of quality of life features (tool-less m.2, pcie quick release, integrated IO shield) - Good I/O for the price (thunderbolt 4, wifi 7, 5GbE LAN, quad m.2 slots) - Clean easy to use UEFI
I got this and some ddr5 8000, cranked it up. "everything" clocked faster than the averages on passmark benchmarks. 300$ cpu ultra 265 by 60,200 points or so... right between 1,300$ AND 1,500$ CPUS 600$ gtx 5070 plain jane d3d'd between $2500 4090 and 5090 plain janes at around 89,000 whatevers. got liquid cooling on cpu and haven't seen over 42c on chip so far. made me happy I saved 1000 dollars on a video card. What I saved in graphics and faster processor speeds this mobo paid for itself 10x over already not even mentioning the electrical savings down the road.
Very easy to install Instructions clean and understandable
Well built with quality parts.
Interesting motherboard. Did you notice the two vertical m.2 slots (4 total)? They are slower slots, but a cool way to easily add a bunch of nvme drives.
1. Lots of I/Os 2. Ram OC options
- easy to set up lots of space
Don't need update BIOS if your install a 14th gen processor
Plenty of ports and options for any build. Alot of fan plugs and rbg plugs. I love how the pci express is reinforced for the heavy video cards. and the heatsinks are tool less with their own thermal pads. This board is made for cool temps. The led's are nice to. GCC software is excellent with the bios updates and the rgb. Very impressive that they now have GCC. Their software has come a long way from the older style control center.
Setup was easy and after bios update its been very stable.
Nice looking motherboard and good quality. Easy to set up in bios setting. Overclocked my ddr5 6400 to 7200 with no issues. Make sure you update to the latest bios first before overclocking
Great high end mobo for bleeding edge components (when purchased). Combined with a Core 7 265k, 48gb of UDIMM memory and an RTX 5080 it has been rock solid as a gaming machine.
- Easy to install everything - The manual was helpful in understanding the board layout and wiring hookups - Plenty of room for installed parts (graphic card, radiator and cpu hub, ram, and 14th generation Intel CPU
- Easy to install and setup - BIOS looks good and is very easy to use - Get DDR5 on your PC without breaking the bank - would highly recommend it to those needing a cheaper Z790 mobo, especially if not looking to OC - no junk in the box, like stickers. I dislike getting electronics that have a dozen of promotional items in them
Ready to go. Accepted i5-13600 with included CMOS. Updated to most recent. Do not rename bios file to MSI.rom Turn off UEFI if you have Samsung SSD otherwise windows boot file is not recognized. Recognized 6000mhz ram after bios update.
M.2 slot lga 1700 everything is great even has a c port slot which is nice idk what I would use it for
- Visual appealing - Ample USB and M2 ports - Excellent build quality
