* I never had this layout with the big delete key and the insert key on the same level as the F keys. I like this change, so it's a pro for me. They also didn't make the mistake (in my view) of putting the Fn key in the bottom left corner instead of the control key. They really thought about how people type. * Typing is great. Responsive, easy-to-press, snappy. Laptop-style, which is what I was going for. * Nice slim look. Black, so people can't see the inevitable ugly stains I put on this baby. * Great price. Does not feel cheap. Feels sturdy. I browsed the local shops (some big and some small) and any slim keyboards with this feel were $80+. Keyboards in the <$40 price range basically all suffered from having mushy/wobbly/cheap keys. * Highly recommended if you want a quality slim, easy-to-press, laptop-style keyboard.

- Great action: e.g., pressing on the corner of larger keys like Tab, the whole key depresses (unlike cheaper keyboards that such a keypress on the corner of a small key might not register, but that's NOT the case here) - Low-profile keys - "island" keys (sometimes called "chicklets") - Almost completely silent (probably due to membrane switches; far end of spectrum compared to sounds of mechanical keyboards, even Cherry REDs with dampeners) - US layout that includes basic media keys via Fn + Function keys on top row - Small footprint: the body of the keyboard barely extends beyond the keys such that the Dell logo is is near the 3 LEDs.

Excellent feel and response. Keys have a nice soft touch.

After 70 yrs ole, the eyes aren't as sharp as they use to be, this backlit keyboard helps

I love the portability of this keyboard and really love the backlit keys. I unboxed it and had it connected to my PC in about 2 minutes. I originally accidentally ordered the one for Mac and reached out to the reseller and he was able to quickly remedy the issue and send me the correct keyboard.
