Easy bios updates, good WiFi, lots of ports and storage slots, super easy main pcie latch
I ordered this when I wanted the B850 version. Duh!
Easy install, directions were great, had no problems getting everything connected. One week in and no problems at all paired with a 9800X3D and G.Skill EXPO 30cas 32GB RAM, Gigabyte 4070 ti, NZXT 9 flow case, Corsair 850w power supply, Thermalright phantom spirit 120 heat sink. Booted up on first attempt. I'm used to the MSI bios but the Asus bios was easy to get used to. Found every setting I needed especially on the AI tweaker menu for PBO and undervolting the CPU slightly for both core voltage and SOC. Changed RAM to EXPO and it detected the correct voltage for the RAM instantly. (1.35v) Had to manually set this on my MSI boards in the past so this was a plus. Played Helldivers 2, Robocop Rogue City, Crysis Remastered so far. Each ran flawlessly with max settings on 1440p monitor. I was able to get a decent boost in FPS over my previous 7600X, but now my GPU is a bottleneck.
- Easy installation on my setup - Running all my games like a charm
Price point was attractive. Plenty of fan inputs. Booted right up with AMD 7600X. Gigabyte software works fine and the update feature worked fine. Not getting the hate on this one, maybe the bios updates fixed prior issues. Wifi works fine, no disconnects.
I needed a lot of USB slots for my Sim racing peripherals. This board has a lot. 10 USB A and 2 USB C.

1. The Biggest pro that I couldn't find with any other MOBO Manufacturer was the 2nd x16 slot runs at PCIE 4 x 4 from the chipset! This means that when using SSD's at PCIE x5 doesn't disable it! Read below to see why this is important. 2. It's a very well built and feature rich board! Save $200 from buying the HERO and get this! The HERO's extra PCIE x16 lane also is disabled when using SSD's. 3. ASUS Hit The Ball OUT of the Park on this one! Worth the Money 4. No issues with drivers and just use BIOS Flash Back USB when installing an X3D processor.
- This motherboard is gorgeous - Easy to Install - Screw-less M.2 slots is incredible
-Ease of build -Great capabilities -Good amount of ports -QoL features that will make upgrading the rig a breeze in the future
-Came as scheduled -Bios did not need updating -Clear labels on PCB for easy building -WiFi worked out of the box -Cleanest bios I've ever seen
The aesthetic of the motherboard looks amazing. The picture I uploaded shows the PC mid-build so you can really see the motherboard. I appreciate the subtle built-in RGB lighting around the logos. The board also has a great mix of white and silver throughout that really adds to that "Ice" moniker. The easy latch system makes removing the GPU really simple. A big positive note is that I was able to POST the system on the first try. I used DDR5 6000CL28 from G.Skill with an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D and encountered no issues. The BIOS has all the main features right up front with no need to dig through additional hidden menus. The motherboard has a built-in HDMI port on the inside for you to hook up a sensor panel screen. Note that your CPU will need to have integrated graphics of some sort and you'll have to download the AM5 graphics drivers from the AMD website.
I built a mini itx system for the living room in the corsair 2000d case. This board was not my first choice because of its price but the first board I bought was the Asrock a620i lightning and it would not post so I had to return it. I bit the bullet and grabbed this asus board and am happy I did. Booted right up, expo worked perfectly with my Gskill ram (30cl 6000mtps). I had heard of people having issues with the wifi on this board but mine is performing excellent. I have gigabit ethernet and am getting 500mbps on wifi from about 30ft away from my router. This board was a little overkill for what I needed but it is a quality board that I have had no issues out of so far.
Bought this MB with a Raptor Lake i5 to replace my old Asus Zxx MB and Kaby Lake i7 that were not capable of upgrading to Windows 11. Reused my old CM PS, CM Heatsink, Nvidia card and even my old 16GB of PC4 RAM. Booted-up and it automatically booted Windows 10 from my old SSD. I was then able to "Upgrade" to Windows 11 (rather than having to buy a new copy) and it has worked perfectly. When I first started doing builds 30 years ago, if you changed the CPU, MB or HD, you had to start all over. Not this time. Don't know why?
Easy to connect, looks great in my first PC build.
Came with UEFI and Secure Boot enabled, which was a pleasant surprise. The BIOS was only a few months old so I haven't even bothered to consider updating. Everything worked first time as expected
Reasonably priced. Arrived on time. Paper manual so it was simple figuring out the connections. Booted once to BIOS and then Windows on the second boot.
9800x3d, 9070xt, trident neo 64gb ddr6000. 9100 pro and 990 pro ssd. corsair titan AIO and corsair shift 1000 psu. Was very easy to setup. Worked on 1st boot, only had to change RAM to expo. Runs cool. about avg 50c under load on sdd slot and CPU. Looks pretty, did an all white build. (is a little more silver than white, but once was in it really compliments everything) plenty of USB ports, (i did avoid the USB 4 so than the SSD slot runs at gen 5, but there is so many you shouldn't have an issue plugging in all your devices) BIOS flash to latest version was easy.
