Works great.

DDR5 gives on-die error correction Extra bays give cache options Compatible RAM upgrades TrueNAS compatibility

Its very nice to have, I'm using it as just a media drive and it hasn't given me any problems. I have it setup plugged straight into my router, so i can access it from any device on my network. I had no problem with either of the app on my android phone or tablet.

Already transferred my backups from my older NAS, now I can repartition my old NAS so that it sees the additional drive space that I added to it long ago, that it never saw, nor was my old NAS even capable of partition expansion.

- M.2SSD and 10GBE in one card - Performance - Ease of installation - Heat sink

Happy to have 6 gb total all working ; didnt want to take a risk to go above 6 gb that isnt on the compatibility list

- Rackmount - Minimal dept (works with shallow racks) - Good cooling - Possibility of 2 PSU - Possibility of extra disks units *. - SSH is available for advanced system admin**. *Read well on Synology website if you are planning to use it. ** DSM is NOT a regular linux release, so make SURE you know what you are doing. Easy to unbox, populate with NVME M.2 SSD cards, configure, add an external HD for scheduled backups and snapshots.

So much faster! Bye Bye Google and Apple monthly charges!

This QNAP runs quickly and quietly. The VM is Microsoft Server 2019, and it is very fast. I have it configured to boot off of a RAID-1 SSD drive array, and the AMD Ryzen processor is very fast. Adding RAM and the SSD drives was EASY. Very nice design on the case, easy access 3 screws and that was it. I added five 16-TB drives in RAID-5, and it is used as a Veeam Offsite Repository target server.

Unit comes with 8 mb of RAM. Upgrading to 32 was easy and allowed use of the more advanced QTS Hero software.

Professional CCTV security system

Easy to set up and hundreds of YouTube videos that are helpful. Waiting on the last 4 of 6 drives that populated that NAS. Then a couple of M.2s and some more memory and the build will be complete. Very versatile and expandable.
