Easy installation, plug in the USB + Network Cable and it started working; Low power usage, just a USB hub can power it up(1A); Works on Mac, just can use the network TCP/IP instead of using the old LPR Printer method
Does not require fancy setup Does not require custom software
Great little device. Worked flawlessly with windows and mac. Took me 30 min to install, haven't found a printer it hasn't worked with.
The print server does what it should, route the different networked computers to the appropriate printer. Very easy setup using the CD first. After that it was a matter of running the Printer Wizard... in XP and selecting the TCP/IP port and typing in the address. Less than 2 minutes total on each computer. I chose a static IP address to make sure it worked with my firewall and anti-virus program. Auto DCHP may be causing some of the problems others are complaining about.
