I'll be comparing this product to a Netgear GS108 switch as that is what I currently use. The build of this unit is nearly identical to my Netgear switch. This device is more gray than Netgear’s blue and lacks the branding on the top that the Netgear series displays. Beyond those minor aesthetics, they are hard to tell apart; even TP-Link's model numbers are suspiciously similar to those of Netgear. Both use sturdy, compact, utilitarian metal designs. It may not fit the bill for a family home living room, but being a business class product this will feel right at home in a server closet or networking rack of a small business. Everything about this product is simple. The box is a tiny cube, barely big enough to hold the tiny switch, slim power adapter and user guide with the mass equivalent of a business card. While all that might normally be a con for most products, I actually prefer it in this instance. This is a business class device which gets straight to business and wastes no time on unnecessary flare and packaging. The device itself, just like the box it comes in, is small and only consists of 90 degree angles. There's no bubbly plastic shell here, in fact there's hardly any plastic at all. It implements an all metal design which speaks quality and durability. The switch comes with four stick-on rubber feet in a separate plastic bag. This is a thoughtful way of ensuring they don't need to be pulled off by those who don't want to use them. This unit uses indicator lights built into the ports just like similar Netgear models. While some might not like the lights and ports being on the same side, I'm a fan of this approach as it's very easy to see which cables are doing what and at what speed they are doing it. Blinking lights indicate activity; yellow lights indicate 10/100Mbps connections and green lights are 1000Mbps. Very simple and very effective. I performed throughput tests using 4 wired devices. A 5GB HD video file was transferred between two devices and an identical 5GB file between the other two. The four storage devices involved are a 250GB Samsung 840 PRO SSD, a set of 4 500GB WD V-Raptors in RAID 0, a set of 4 2TB WD Green drives in RAID 10, and 4 WD 1TB Black drives in RAID 10. Each of these disk configurations can read and write reliably over 200MB/s. A 1000mbps wired connection has a theoretical transfer speed of 125MB/s so none of these drives can be considered a bottleneck for this test. I started both transfers at the same time and both presented nearly identical results. The minimum transfer rate recorded was 92MB/s, with a maximum of 118MB/s. Both transfers completed within 3 seconds of each other at roughly 45 seconds.

Gave slightly increased Internet upload speeds, with mixed results for download speeds according to the tests that I ran.

I have bilateral hearing aids and bought a Bluetooth streaming microphone (Signia...also beyond excellent). I needed a blue tooth adapter for my work PC so I can stream phone calls straight into my aids.. Absolutely works GREAT! Least stressful day I've had in years!!

top quality components. solidly put together. very easy to install. for me this won over other similarly bundled sets of identical component by the the price (on average 10-20$ less), and that antennas are not attached to the card. which btw didn't even seem to be necessary as i got 6E speeds off the initial installation before i even bothered to attach the wired magnetic pod. also, unlike some other similar bundles this included both the long and the short brackets.

Simple design Efficient, only takes about 1.5 watts to power it. "Boots" effectively instantly...the down side of many "smart" items is you turn them on and wait.

Easy installation, connection and configuration. Invisible on a white wall. It works quickly, keeps the connection stably, works great with the controller and supports seamless roaming. Works very well outdoors, in an open space where there are no obstructions.

I purchased 2 of these. one to put in my desktop and the other to put in my truenas server. truenas core will not support this card. I had to update to truenas scale for it to recognize.

Fully weatherproof, extremely reliable

Upgrade from 6 year old router. The initial setup was quick and easy. All of the old devices linked right up. The newer dual-band devices locked right up as well, I am getting 2400 speed on my 802.11ax devices. all good. It has been about 8 weeks now, no drops no issues at all. Locked down and WPA3 security. All good. We have a house on an acre property. The house is basically in the center. I now have good signal all around the acre. Even at the furthest corner I still have 1 bar and functionality.

The wifi extender has a high Internet speed. It supports 2.4G and 5G dual bands. It is simple to connect this extender with other routers to build a mesh network. It used in outdoor, so it's waterproof. PoE is convenient, so you don't need a power cable.
