Large antenna. Good speed. Easy install.

This was pretty easy to install. It did come with an install CD but I just downloaded what I needed from the website. Now you will have to have an ethernet cord or a usb wifi dongle to do this but it took like 5 minutes to figure all this out. It did not seem to connect until I had the software for it installed. Once installed I ran through a quick update to check and made sure it was the only wifi source and it has been working flawlessly ever since. (two weeks at this point)

Set up was straight forward. I am using the BE-88U as the primary router with the two BE-92's as secondary mesh routers. There were no issues with the set up between the Primary and Mesh Routers. The directions were simple to follow. The routers have robust security options. The coverage in the house is now very good. The clients already in place connected automatically. I had 3 older (2019) ASUS routers serving in a mesh setup previously, which had coverage issues that had increased over time. The cable company had put the optical fiber modem at the far end of the house in a closet (obviously not ideal).

So the wifi speeds are fast, real fast. I love the options like creating guest wifi for each band and auto daily reboot at specific time (that is sweet). Also I selected fast shipping and router came next day! LED's are nice (still need to figure out the breathing LEDs). The wifi 6E is way faster than my actual advertised speeds with spectrum which is 975/35 I included a screenshot of speed test. Yeah sweet router. Oh and thanks for the $100 off ❤

Wired networking is far superior to wireless in almost every way, but it's not always possible. Powerline adapters allow us to inexpensively add wired-networking to a home using already-existing in-wall cabling. TP-Link's TL-PA4010KIT is an extremely simple to set-up powerline adapter, which allowed me to add wired networking to parts of my home that do not already have Cat6 wiring or a strong Wi-Fi signal. The packaging itself is quite simple, only containing a software CD, several Ethernet cables and two very well packaged powerline adapters. It took me very little time to figure out how to operate these adapters, within minutes I was able to connect to my existing home network. Pairing the adapters was as easy as plugging both in and pushing the pairing button, much like pairing a wireless device via WPS. The Ethernet ports on each adapter is only rated for 10-100 Mbps speeds, however this should be more than acceptable for most uses including online gaming and media streaming. I failed to see a slowdown on my Xbox 360 or HTPC when testing both on the powerline adapters.

Compared to another print server I have used before, this one was much much easier This one, having both Wifi and 2x Ethernet ports makes it easy to connect and start setup. Bonus feature is that you can use it as a server for a USB drive too.

The TP-LINK TL-SG108E seems to be a well-built switch with an option to operate as a managed switch. The box contains the switch, AC adaptor, quick start guide, a resource cd, and stick-on rubber feet. The switch has a metal frame and measures 6.2”x4”x1”. If you want to run this as an 8-port Gigabit switch just plug it in and go. However, if you want to configure it to act as a managed switch, complete with V-Lans, trunk groups, port mirroring, and DHCP just pop in the cd and install the included management software. The TP-Link “Easy Smart Configuration Utility” has a nice interface and functions well. Speeds test well and I have not experienced any issues with this switch during my initial testing.

Full performance for my fiber internet, ASUS app and setup is very user friendly and straight forward. Follow the quick installation and youll be up and running in very little time. Paid for 1GB of fiber internet and, for example, download speeds through the Nighthawk AC2300 was at max approximately 600MBS. Through testing and actual download speeds, Im at my full 1GB download speed. Amazing product and half the cost of trying to upgrade to a Nighthawk RS600. Netgear has great products but this got me modern WiFi 7, full performance, and at a good cost compared to other routers.
