Major defects: the 650W PSU from the same platform has passed Cybenetics certification, suggesting no major flaws. 7/10 Protections: tests on the 650W version shows it has protections, though the protection thresholds are set relatively high. 6/10 Components: Japanese capacitor + Taiwanese capacitors, generally solid. 8/10 Build quality: uses SMT, but teardown images are hard to find. 7/10 Brand: SAMA isn't well-known in the U.S., but has decades of history in the Chinese market and manufacture their own PSU. Not an ODM generic brand. 7/10

Been using SF PSU's for a few years now and have yet to be let down. Phenomenal construction, design and function. I'd really like to see Super Flower offer individually sleeved cables for their PSU's even if it's an additional cost. Having the proprietary, patented connectors is great, but it's a drag if you want to keep the theme in your case.

Easy peasy install in a new case, plenty of power connectors. Quiet as can be.

It works great comes with everything you need! And more! I had a ton of left over cables which I could still totally use if I ever want to upgrade my pc

I went this over the RM1000X because of the native 12VHP connecter for my 4090. If own a 4090, save yourself the trouble and buy this. The cables are braided and feel really nice honestly. This PSU comes with a 10 YEAR WARRANTY!!! For the price, you can't beat this psu.

plenty of cables to hook up what you need. has a switch on the back to make the fan only turn on when its under load but i have that turned off and i dont hear the fan at all it is also very quiet.

Isnt a Thermaltake SMART series PSU

Quiet and powerful. I used to have a Corsair RM550X run with my 8700k oc @5ghz and a gtx1080, the power could only provide 130w max for cpu in stress test and about 110% tdp for gpu. After getting this the cpu can run max for 160w and 130% for graphics card, which proves that I do need a more powerful PSU.

The power supply is easy to set up and use. Works perfectly.

Very quiet, excellent construction

Nice cables, great length, and one molex on the sata power cables, so I was able to tuck the other cable away. The PSU still had a floppy power plug on one cable.
