Easy to install- how hard can it be to plug in a cable with USB on one end and IEEE 1284 on the other. I got a new computer that had no parallel connector and thought that I would not be able to use my trusted old HP Laserjet 4 Plus again. How glad I was to find out that such a cable as this was available and worked right out of the package. One thing you need to remember is to set your port up as a USB and not the typical LPT1 port that is used with the parallel connection or just let the computer find that port for you rather than picking it yourself. For the price you can't go wrong- especially when others have them for four times that. Plus Newegg came through again with one day delivery to my area.
