I have only tested in JBOD mode, and from reviews of other products I didn't even know if this would work. But so far it is working properly and doing what it should do (I admit that the drives in this had been through a pws fire... so I was curious to see it the drives would even work in this enclosure... they did). This is a very small enclosure to fit 4 drives. I am very happy with its size and portability.
